First held in 2001, Strand Ephemera is a biennial festival of arts. In addition to the exhibition, there are guided tours, talks presented by the participating artists and a series of drop-in workshops for the whole community to enjoy.

Townsville City Council is grateful for the support of local businesses and volunteers who are committed to ensuring the success of this event. provides an opportunity for residents and visitors to engage with contemporary art, enriching our lives in the process.
