Creative Communties

Gallery Services’ Creative Communities suite of programs aims to develop the arts and cultural activity present and available to individuals, groups and organisations within the Townsville region. Catering to all ages and abilities, the Creative Communities platform provides individuals and groups the opportunity to learn from local, national and international artists across a range of genres and mediums, both within and outside of the Gallery environment.

Creative Communities Programs include:

• art-box: Art activities for under 5’s

• Family Fun Days: Free art making workshops for young families at the Gallery

• Art Classes

• Art Escape School Holiday Program

• Artists Talks and Guided Tours

• Art After Dark: A dynamic after hours program including art film screenings, talks and artist presentations

• After School Art Program: Art workshops, held after school hours for primary school students.
