THE DAPTO CHASER

16 JUNE

AWAY

3 NOVEMBER

WHARF REVUE C2, Civic Theatre, 2.30pm and 6.30pm

Over 15 years and 21 shows, they’ve mercilessly mocked all the usual suspects. We’ve watched Howard Tampa with refugees, Rudd give pennies from Kevin, Gillard refuse to be lectured by “that man”, “that man” scrap the carbon tax, stop the boats and – um – get the budget back into surplus… But no one has been able to outplay, outwit or outlast The Wharf Revue. The Wharf Revue was a parade of past and present in dignitaries – a who’s who of 21st century embarrassments, from the politicians to the celebrities – all skewered on the stake of seriously side-splitting satirical silliness and musical mayhem. ͅͅ Tickets: Adult $17, Concession $15, School student $12,

Family (2ad + 2ch) $50, Group (+10) $14 each. Ticketshop member: Adult $15.30, Concession $13.50 Phone 07 4727 9797 Email ticketshop@townsville.qld.gov.au

FREE EVENT

Bring your blanket along and enjoy the free open-air movie under the stars and raintrees at Riverway!

Heritage Day is a free, family friendly event that promotes Townsville’s unique heritage and increases community awareness of our local heritage groups and organisations. Enjoy live entertainment, food court and a range of other free activities. Set in West End Park, a popular activity is the guided tours. Pay a visit to stalls featuring almost 30 local heritage and historical groups.

George Beard and Harold Hutchins are two overly imaginative pranksters who spend hours in a treehouse creating comic books. When their mean principal threatens to separate them into different classes, the mischievous boys accidentally hypnotize him into thinking that he’s a ridiculously enthusiastic, incredibly dim-witted superhero named Captain Underpants.
