For visitors, there’s a lot to love about Townsville from its relaxed lifestyle to the spectacular natural beauty of Magnetic Island and Hinchinbrook. Events like this are important for supporting local jobs, tourism operators and North Queensland’s Economic Recovery Plan, now underway. Once you’ve cheered on the Maroons to victory, exploring North Queensland’s tropical paradise is a terrific way of making the most of your stay in Townsville.
