UTAS Network Rail Approved, Universal Track Access Systems UTAS+L Now Available in 8m+ lengths. TPA is firmly established in the rail sector as “the” principle provider of safe, effective, value for money temporary roadways, walkways & access systems. The Universal Track Access System (UTAS) family has been extended further with RRAP’s 8m+ in length with the UTAS+L model. This is achieved through the design of a unique linking mechanism that connects two 4m (or greater) sections together. With its customary rapid installation time, this new RRV rail track access length extension system shall provide a superb all round solution to the on and off tracking of road rail vehicles.

The Benefits The new longer Universal Track Access System UTAS+L is designed to enable even longer rubber tyred or tracked road rail machines to get on and off track safely and provides the following benefits; 1. Avoid damage to equipment including the rail head 2. 50 tonne load bearing 3. Total rail head protection 4. Network Rail Approved - Certificate No. PA05/03902 5. Significantly longer specialist vehicles can use the UTAS+L to gain safe access to the rail just like smaller RRV’s can.

The UTAS+L linkage connects 2x UTAS sections seamlessly and provides for longer RRV’s with its 8m, 10m, 12m & 14m lengths. The transport footprint can be minimised by the stacking of x2 stillages.

System Parts • The full ramp kit consists of 4 outer/edge ramp sections and 2 centre ramps (with integrated connection linkage - (See Red Section in Image Below) Load Bearing Capacity • 50 tonne load • Tracked machines up to 50 tonnes

Can be utilised to on/off and cross track most types of rail road plant.

Installation Time • Full ramp kit, inclusive of the 6 sections can be fully installed and ready for use in less than 30 minutes. • Deployed in just 6 lifts by an excavator/crane with lifting chains. Note • The UTAS RRAP is not approved to be used on the Bull Head Track style of rail line, due to the clearance and “chairs” in which the rail sits.
