KC HiLiTES continues to set new standards in automotive lighting with the introduction of our all new KC-pod™. This is the industry’s first 70 watt HID light. Designed by KC engineers in conjunction with critical feedback from some of the nation’s top off-road racers, the KC-pod™ features a unique weight saving Carbon Fiber housing. The 70 watt HID bulb and computer designed Multi-Surface Reflector are protected by an Unbreakable Hard Coated Lexan® Lens. The 7.25” Carbon Fiber housing is Fixed Mounted for extreme stability. The Spring Loaded Lens Assembly not only isolates it from the harsh impacts of off-road racing, but also allows for fast, simple and accurate aiming. An External Ballast is attached directly to the light housing to provide easier wiring. KC HID Racer Units are a special abbreviated package consisting of a single 35 watt HID light, light ballast, jumper wire and light cover for use on off-road race vehicles or pre-runners where they could be wired into the existing electrical system. They’re available in 5”, 6”,8” diameter models and our new carbon fiber KC-pod.
