About Tracy Tracy Gilbert creates jewellery designs that are meticulously handcrafted in Dublin with love of Irish roots, history & folklore. Tracy enjoys designing & making contemporary pieces of jewellery that capture the essence of Ireland’s Celtic past. Her use of translucent materials and precious metals is a striking feature of her designs. This feature is Tracy’s attempt to capture the magic of the Winter Solstice sun as it shines through the Newgrange passage tomb to spectacular effect.

Anyone whose roots are in Ireland will love this collection which depicts Ireland as a tree with deep, strong and enduring roots. It has withstood hardships but continues to grow and give shelter to new and existing generations.

Growing Home Coloured Collection The Coloured collection is crafted to allow light to shine through the pieces to reveal a Celtic triple spiral (triskele – representing eternity) that is pierced out at the back.

Each piece is crafted from Sterling Silver and comes with a story card explaining the meaning behind the piece. The Coloured range is available in translucent emerald green (representing the Land of Ireland) and blue (representing the Ocean) acrylic.

Children of Lir

This collection is inspired by the old Irish legend about four children who were turned into swans for 900 years. The children remained together as swans for the rest of their lives. The two swans entwine to form a heart, symbolising Love & Dedication. One of the swans is textured to give the illusion that one swan lies slightly behind the other in the embrace. 6

Celtic Knots This collection is a contemporary interpretation of traditional Celtic knots. Each piece comes with the option of the following gemstones: peridot, amethyst, blue topaz & garnet. Other gemstones available on request. The knotwork is inspired by the decorative illustrations in ancient Celtic manuscripts such as the Book of Kells.

Circle of Light This design is inspired by the sun and its importance to Celtic life. The sun was at the centre of the Celtic year with the year split into two halves, the dark and the light. The sun, represented by a golden citrine, bursts from the centre of each piece. The eight spirals in the design symbolise the eight Celtic Festivals: Samhain, Yule, Imbolc, Eostre, Beltaine, Litha, Lughnasa & Mabon.

St. Bridget’s Cross The St. Bridget’s Cross is associated with St. Bridget, one of the patron saints of Ireland. It is likely that the crosses date back to the Goddess Bridget who was one of the Tuatha Dé Danann. Her feast day is 1st of February , Imbolc. Piece

Iconic Dublin The Iconic Dublin Collection celebrates some of the iconic landmarks of Dublin. The highly decorated lamp post with five lanterns called the Five Lamps is at the junction of five streets – Portland Row, North Strand Road, Seville Place, Amiens Street and Killarney Street. Whether you are entering the Ha’penny bridge from the North or the South side of Dublin, you are entering the very heart of Dublin City.

Salmon of Knowledge The Salmon of Knowledge pendant is inspired by the mythological creature that was said to have given the hero Fionn MacCumhaill his legendary wisdom. In Tracy’s newest design, the salmon chases a wave to form the letter to symbolise Éire (Ireland).

An OĂ­che When the sun goes down, the fun begins and creatures of the night come out to play. This collection includes a cat with character and an owl with attitude. Light shines through the pieces to reveal stars and moons pierced out at the back.
