Lots 1 and 4 are maternal brothers and Lots 2 and 3 are full brothers to PAF Rita 7096, the $480,000-valued record-setting donor first selected for $160,000 by EZ Angus Ranch in California from the 2019 Blackjack and Guests Female Sale; EZ Angus recently sold half interest in Rita 7096 in their 2022 production sale to Vintage Angus for $240,000. 7096 was anointed “the best damn donor in this herd” by Chad Davis after nine sons in the EZ bull sale grossed $395,000 to average an incredible $43,889 and included EZAR Gettysburg 1061, the $170,000 top-selling selection of Blackstone Cattle Co. in Wisconsin, and his $45,000 flush brother EZAR Saber 1145, purchased by Edisto Pines, Leesville, SC.

• A flush sister to Lot 1 and maternal sister to Lots 2 through 4, PAF Rita 2249, sold for $47,000 to Aberan Angus Edgehill, Keswick, VA, in the 2022 Blackjack and Guests Female Sale.

• In the 2022 Denim and Diamonds Sale, two maternal sisters to Lots 1 through 4 sired by GAR Home Town and Connealy Emerald sold to Express Ranches for $17,000 and $13,000 and appreciated in value when they sold again for $42,500 to Vintage Angus Ranch and $16,000 to Linz Heritage Angus in the 2022 Express Big Event. A flush on the dam of Lots 1 through 4 was the $20,000 selection from the 2022 Denim and Diamonds Sale of Linz, who had previously purchased a flush from PAF Rita 5091 for $30,000 from the 2020 Denim and Diamonds Sale that produced the bull mentioned below and daughters that sold for $27,500 to Vintage and $17,500 to Arellano Bravo in the 2021 Linz Heritage Angus Sale.

• In the 2022 Blackjack Bull Sale, four full brothers to Lots 2 and 3 and maternal brothers to Lots 1 and 4 sold for an average of $6,750 and included PAF Confidence Plus 1237, the $10,000 top-selling selection of Cantrell and Grissom Cattle Co., Prague, OK. A maternal brother to Lots 1 through 4, LINZ Exemplify 0806, was the $7,500 selection of Lone Star Angus from the 2022 National Angus Bull Sale. A maternal sib heifer pregnancy to Lots 1 through 4 was the $20,500 selection of Express Ranches from the 2021 Denim and Diamonds Sale and resulted in a donor prospect that was the $27,000 half interest selection of Crazy K from the 2021 Express Big Event.
