We’re just two miles from downtown, so you can go from campus to a hands-on project and back in minutes. And we’re a short drive from the verdant Appalachian Mountains and beautiful Gulf Coast beaches.

“Birmingham is a progressive city and there’s a lot of cool stuff going on. I spent the summer as an intern at Piper Place, a center for adults with severe mental illness, a position that’s only open to BSC students. I got to learn so much and it helped me discover my true passion. Now I want to go into occupational therapy or become a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.”
