Overview The XA-TIG200PXP is a 240V square wave AC/DC TIG inverter welder incorporating full TIG functionality including AC balance control, pre gas, down slope, post gas, variable pulse parameters, HF start with 2/4T trigger control. The HF arc start provides easy arc ignition leaving no tungsten inclusion and no contamination of the tungsten electrode. The Down Slope and Post Gas combined with the 2/4T trigger function gives you control of the welder allowing you to control the start and finish of the weld process at a professional level. The addition of a fully adjustable pulse function of frequency, base current and pulse width gives you the added capability to better control heat input into the work, control penetration & control distortion. AC balance control lets you set the AC TIG arc for cleaning of the oxide layer on aluminium and adjustment for a deeper penetrating weld. Combining the functions of the XA TIG200PPXP ensures comprehensive control of the welding parameters when welding both AC and DC weldable materials giving you the ability to produce professional Tig welds. The DC MMA welding capability delivers a smooth and stable arc allowing easy welding with electrodes obtaining high quality welds including cast Iron, stainless and low hydrogen. Addition of the optional Foot Control provides variable amperage adjustment during. MULTI WAVE is the most innovative multifunction power source system specifically developed for Tig AC/DC. The welding performance is enhanced due to the “multi wave technology” that creates the improved waveform for any TIG application with SMOOTH ARC, reducing the noise emission of the arc and improving the quality of the welding. Digital Tig AC/DC for single phase 230V ac applications. It is light and easy to use for most applications and helps also the unskilled welders to reach exceptional results with a self learning user interface. All the innovations of the Multi Wave family are built in this portable machine with the result of higher thickness of welding material at faster speed also with single phase power supply. CFC - Continuous Frequency Control for the best arc stability at any thickness. TAC - True Average Current Control allows the true energy of the arc with control over the effectiveness of the output current. FWC - Full Wave Form Control from real square wave up to true sine wave, the arc is adapted to any material and any current with smoother arc and lower noise. ABC - Asymmetrical Balance Control improving balance controls for high current, high efficiency and high speed welding. MIX AC - AC Mixed Arc Control innovative AC welding, thicker material and higher speed with light torches such as in DC welding. MIX DC - DC Mixed Arc Control innovative system that allows welding with gaps without filler material. REDEFINING ARC IGNITION AND STABILITY Highest arc stability is available with the Multi wave process. Thanks to the new innovative system of “FORCED ARC ™” the ignition of the arc is faster and direct - with or without high frequency. Also in AC function maintaining the arc does not require high frequency in any situation. With this innovation, arc ignition can be performed using a simple lift arc technique without causing any tungsten damage. High frequency can be selected in AC and DC welding mode, but only for arc ignition. With this system automatic applications are possible, also it can be used in environments where the use of High Frequency is forbidden. Now with Multi Wave it is possible to weld with confidence and maximum arc stability, especially in environments such as hospitals, airports, power stations... The use of the Multi Wave in robotic and automated situations eliminates the main problem of reliability of the robotic and CNC controllers when used for TIG process. EASY TO USE A full synergic program table allows for quick use by expert welders as well as an optimal approach for less experienced operators. Synergy is easy and fast to set; all that is required is to choose the type of welding, material type and the size of the tungsten. The welder can adjust the welding current or simply just select the material thickness that he wants to weld. Frequency waveforms of the softness, balance, pulsation, slope, cycle level, timing of gas and also the parameters for cold wire are automatically available at optimal values. In this operating mode, all innovations of the Multi wave system are used at optimal preset values and adjusted automatically during any change of the welding current. SIMPLE EASY CONTROL A robust system with touch control is used for settings selection. This system is shock proof being able to take strong impact without failure. Control settings are easily made via the front panel using the touch pads and dial controls. The advanced technology is complex but the user friendly front panel makes for simple control and easy operation of the machine. Use of the new enhanced processes are made easy.
