PET-FRIENDLY

TradeWinds Island Resorts is a pet friendly property. Pets are restricted to the areas marked by paw prints. Please note pets are not allowed on St. Pete Beach per city ordinance.

PET PLAY ZONE

A fenced, secure area with doggie drinking fountain, photo opportunity, and an accessory center with rinse area are located at both Island Grand and RumFish Beach Resort.

POOL TOWELS

At Island Grand, just show your GoPass wristband for towels at the Adventure Center from 8 a.m. to sunset daily. At RumFish Beach Resort, a towel hut is located by the pool and is accessible with your room key. Please return towels to appropriately marked bins at the end of the day.

SAFES

In-room safes are located in every room; use is free with the resort amenity fee.

SAFETY KIT FOR GUEST ROOMS

A safety kit is available at the Front Desk that includes a hanging door alarm, corner cushions for tables, and outlet covers.

SWIM WITH THE FISH!

Ready to dive into the ultimate aquatic experience? Swimmers can don snorkel gear and go beneath the surface in our giant 33,500-gallon aquarium, featured on Animal Planet’s hit show TANKED! Don’t miss your chance to come face to face with some local residents like tarpon, snook, trout, redfish, stingrays and a 8-foot moray eel. You’ll also get a chance to go behind the scene to see what it takes to maintain some seriously incredible tanks!

Touch Tank EXPERIENCE

What is round, spikey, has five teeth and walks on lots of tube feet? Find out and hold one, along with a host of other sea critters.

Is a horseshoe crab really a crab?

It’s pretty much guaranteed that everyone will learn some interesting bit of marine trivia at the Touch Tank Experience. The one-hour program is held at RumFish Beach Resort, and is complimentary to guests. Recommended for ages 5 and up. Check the Recreation Calendar for dates and times.

TRADEWINDS ADVENTURE CENTER is located at the Beachfront Pool at Island Grand and is the place to go for pool towels, passes, treats, beach stuff, recreation information and reservations for KONK Club programs. The Adventure Center Is your one-stop shop for fun; reservations ext. 6020.

BEACH CABANAS Avoid the wait and reserve your cabana the day before at ReserveMyCabana.com or check in at the Cabana Hut for assignment. One per room reservation is included in the resort amenity fee. Front row cabanas may be reserved for a fee.

BEACH GAMES Visit the Cabana Hut on the beach for sand pails and equipment for cornhole and bocce ball.

GAME ROOM Get your game on with these arcade games located in KONK at Island Grand; table tennis is located right outside.

HIGH TIDE SLIDE Plunge down our 3-story, quadruple chute waterslide as many times as you dare. Show your GoPass wristband; included in the resort amenity fee. Daily, 10 am - 5 pm

MINI-GOLF A mini-golf course and equipment is located off the Garden Courtyard at Island Grand. Day play is included in the resort amenity fee. Daily

POOLS Nine swimming pools include an adult pool and beachfront pool at each resort, a pool and kiddie wading pool next to KONK and a covered pool at Island Grand. Daily, 7 am - 11 pm.

SPA SERVICES Body Works at RumFish Beach Resort offers a variety of facials and massage therapy. Please call in advance for appointments, ext. 6019.

SPORTS EQUIPMENT A variety of equipment for volleyball and tennis is available at the Adventure Center, call ext. 6020.

STINGRAY SHUFFLE Stingrays swim into shallow water and you definitely don’t want to step on one! Avoid them by shuffling your feet while in the water.

SWIM WITH THE FISH Get up close and personal and swim with over 30 species of native fish in the massive aquarium at RumFish Grill. All equipment provided, no dive certification required. Reservations, visit SwimWithOurFish.com or visit the Outfitter Shop at RumFish Beach Resort.

TANKED TOUR Come see the 33,500-gallon aquarium built on Animal Planet’s hit show Tanked. The massive tank is home to big fish right out of Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico: tarpon, trout, snook, redfish and an 8-foot green moray eel named Frankie. Open daily at RumFish Grill. Check the Activity Schedule for narrated tours several times weekly.

VOLLEYBALL Schelde Pro nets are located on the beach at Island Grand. Balls may be checked out with your GoPass wristband at the Adventure Center.

SUNSCREEN A variety of sunscreens for all skin types is available at our beach shops. Be sure to cover up well with a waterproof type (feet, too)! Don’t forget that sunlight penetrates water and sunlight reflected off the beach or pool deck can burn even on a cloudy day.

KONK CLUB Our special KONK Club drop-off camps offer a variety of themed and unique events for ages 5-12. These fully supervised camps range from 1.5 to 4 hours and include a meal or snack. Call to pre-register, ext. 6020.
