Our Story
From humble beginnings to store shelves nationwide, Dionis has come a long way since it fi rst started in 1982 on a small goat farm in the highlands of Virginia.
Named after a beach in Nantucket, Dionis got its start by our founder Kate Crosby, a goat farmer who hand made goat milk bar soap using milk from her farm. After sales were on the rise within her community, Kate realized she had created something special with Dionis and that many others would benefi t from using goat milk skincare.
Today, Dionis remains committed to the core values it was founded upon over 40 years ago. Proudly both woman founded and operated, Dionis is now led by Karen Minsky, who vows to continue making goat milk-based, quality skincare products that customers can rely on to make them look and feel their best.
As a clean beauty brand, quality will always be our top priority. Each product is carefully formulated, with ingredient safety and its effects on an individual’s health and wellbeing, as well as the environment, being top priorities. And of course, having nature’s own original balanced moisturizer, goat milk, as our star ingredient in every product is at our core.
In addition, we are proudly a Leaping Bunny certifi ed cruelty-free brand and all of our products are dermatologist-tested, making them proven effective for even the most sensitive skin.
