Hi, Jo here, welcome to the August edition of Living Fair. It’s great to have you here.

Well, what a month! I love a catalogue drop, so hope you get the chance to see our new Autumn/Winter ‘20 edition which comes out early September. If you’re not on our mailing list, but would like to receive a catalogue, you can request one here. I’m really proud of the team at Traidcraft who work on this; the hours that go into selecting products, compiling, organising, proofing, designing and amending this is vast, especially as we’ve more or less doubled the amount of pages. They do an amazing job. As well as your normal fair trade goodies, some highlights for me include the new VENT stationery range, not only stylish, but with soul, for thoughtful journal keepers to avid list makers, there is something for everyone. These have been really popular since we put them live on the website. I’m feeling brave so yes, I’m going to mention the “C”

word – CHRISTMAS! We’ve the whole range of fair trade hampers available, however, this year we’ve introduced a premium hamper, and perfect for that special gift or as a family treat. This season, we’ve also got a men’s capsule clothing range from Traidcraft favourite’s ethical clothing brand, Thought, we’ve got our new Vegan Essentials Box, handmade Christmas decorations, 100% recycled glassware, a whole array of chocolate goodies, homewares and well, the list goes on! Make sure you see for yourself. October hopefully sees the first get together of our focus group, which I'm very much looking forward to. Braving the Shave! Last month, our wonderful colleague and friend, Andrea, braved the shave in aid of a cancer charity close to her heart. She has raised a total of £1,600 for her chosen charity. Well done Andrea! "I'm doing this for Stacey, mother of four, who has terminal cancer aged 36. My mum died of cancer at age of 47, when I was just 17. Cancer effects everyone in some way at some point so if we can help ease the hurt then we should. I look good don't I?" - Andrea

Traidcraft Podcast We’re always up for trying new things here at Traidcraft, which is why we are dipping our toes in the water of a whole new way of communicating with you – via podcast. In our very first show, Traidcraft’s Sarah, Jo and Rio chat all things vegan, in light of the Vegan Trademark's 30th birthday and the launch of our Vegan Essentials Box, as well as sharing how they’ve been staying positive in lockdown.
