Large class sizes may not provide an adequate learning environment and there can be a number of class distractions. There is minimal teacher/candidate oneon-one time, and candidates may not feel supported in a way that they really need. The training may feel rushed because of the short duration delivery of the qualification. Often valuable time is wasted travelling to a venue and your absence and time spent away from work may have serious impacts for both you and your work colleagues.
Through Interlink Technology Services (RTO # 31926), Training Basix now offers one-on-one, face-to-face online mentoring for the nationally accredited qualification of Diploma of Integrated Risk Management and online tutorials for the Certificate IV in Integrated Risk Management.
How valuable is your time? The courses can be delivered via Skype and/or Microsoft Lync, or in real time or webinars if appropriate, saving you valuable time, as it is a direct, focused and effective approach. One option is to attend tutorials from your own workplace. This method of teaching is not being conducted anywhere else in Australia and offers candidates: An ideal learning environment because each tutorial is run with just you and your trainer.

Full support is offered throughout the tutorial and is ongoing over the duration of the course. Other advantages include: Tutorials are aligned with work demands and are ideally no more than four weeks apart. Direct issues occurring during your one-on-one session can be quickly addressed. The number of tutorials can be extended, by agreement, if required to ensure course completion. Learning is workplace contextualised; it is not generic and can be modified to use your methodology so that workplace application is immediate. It is able to be delivered anywhere in Australia, or overseas. If you and your organisation are already applying ISO:31000 then there may be no need for training for training’s sake. The Diploma of Integrated Risk Management and Certificate IV in Integrated Risk Management feature: Eight dedicated 2–3 hour online tutorials and seven purposely designed units of competency based on the standards of ISO:31000, which can be completed within six months. The Certificate IV in Integrated Risk Management can also be classroom delivered, subject to minimum levels of enrolment. 12-month membership to RMIA may be offered to non-members as part of our program.
