The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Training Course is designed to ensure compliance with the COSHH Regulations 2002 (as amended) by teaching learners how to identify and control substances hazardous to health.
The course explains both employer and employee responsibilities under the COSHH regulations. It details how to undertake a COSHH risk assessment, common ill-health effects f rom working with hazardous substances, and safe working methods.

These regulation require all employers to sufficiently control harmful substances in their workplaces.

COSHH RISK ASSESSMENT AND CONTROL MEASURES Suitable and sufficient risk assessments are an essential part of any business. It is particularly important when your work involves working with hazardous substances. Employers have a legal duty to ensure that all risks associated with working at height are assessed correctly under COSHH. They are also required to monitor these risks and ensure that any changes are taken into account and the risk assessment updated.
