What have we learnt from setting a world record? Summer solstice, 1977, Sweden: CEO and founder Sven-Olof Karlsson tees up at dawn, around 2:30 am. He and a childhood friend have decided they will attempt to break the world record of 135 golf holes played in one day. Crazy? More like 21-year-olds passionate about golf, pushing boundaries and having a whole lot of fun. After 20 hours and 153 holes played according to competition rules, they call it a night, mainly because it’s too dark to see where the balls land. At abacus® we’re always up for the challenge. We’ve learnt that good can always get better if you set your mind to it. And we truly understand – from experience – what it takes to look, feel and play your very best. Walton rain jacket – has added elasticity, which provides freedom of motion and total comfort. The Walton has been measured at a CoS of 2.33 – meaning that it can stretch to almost two and a half times its original size. Made from two-layer ripstop polyester, it’s completely windproof, with a waterproofness of 15,000 MP, and breathability of 15,000 MVP. provides excellent water repellency and stain protection. Features like detachable hood, waterproof front zip and shaped sleeves makes the Walton jacket ideal for golf, providing full freedom of golf when wearing it.
