christina francis Christina Francis started this company because she believes in the power of beautiful, healthy skin. She knows it can transform the way we feel about ourselves, how we connect with others, and how we take on challenges. It’s a lesson she learned at an early age, shadowing her dad as he grew his company, University Medical Pharmaceuticals, into a multimillion-dollar skincare and pharmaceutical company. Young Christina did everything from helping demonstrate skincare products at local retail stores, to acting as a spokesperson for premier brands like AcneFree®, to producing company segments for Home Shopping Network. Through all those years, she learned how important tenacity, hustle and passion were in getting the company’s products into prestigious retail stores like Harrods, Bloomingdale’s and Nordstrom. She saw the value of integrity and efficacy, with the company’s relentless dedication to quality ingredients and clinically tested formulations that set it apart from global competitors. And she felt the pride of representing products developed by researchers and scientists at some of the nation’s top universities, in partnership with expert dermatologists. Witnessing the impact of University Medical’s products, Christina knew there had to be a beautiful way to get the company’s transformative skincare into even more people’s hands (and deeper into the dermal-epidermal layers of their skin!). She chose the Butterfly as the company’s symbol, with its metamorphosis symbolizing the transformation that Transformational Beauty brings to skincare. The Butterfly is also a positive symbol, reflecting the connectivity of life and rebirth—underscoring our ability to change, and ultimately soar. Joined by her father, Ray, her husband, Matt Stevens, the company has one simple focus … to transform skincare—and the lives of those who share it.

Hyaluronic Acid (HA) provides our skin’s own natural, internal hydration – it’s abundant in young skin, but we lose more and more of it as we age. HA works together with Collagen and Elastin, all of which are essential for firm, smooth, healthy looking skin.

Collagen is known for promoting glowing, vibrant skin. It’s an essential protein that provides elasticity, which helps skin appear more healthy and youthful. As we age, Collagen production declines, which can lead to dryness, fine lines and loose skin.
Ceramides make up over 50% of our skin—helping protect it from dehydration, environmental damage and more. Like Peptides and Hyaluronic Acid, as we age and increase our long-term exposure to the sun, our Ceramide quality and quantity grow depleted. High quality Ceramides, like those in our Youth Serum HA, are critical for maintaining our skin’s healthy, youthful glow.
Green Tea Extract is loaded with a variety of antioxidants, known to reactivate dying skin cells, heal damaged skin cells and prevent free radical damage. The tannins can also help shrink pores and treat oily skin, which can help with acne and blackheads.
Argan Oil
Argan trees are native to Morocco, and they’re also the source of Argan oil, which is made from the trees’ kernels. Argan oil is rich in Omega Fatty Acids, Vitamin E and Linoleic Acids, all known to moisturize, soften dry patches, and reduce acne. The Vitamin E in Argan Oil is an anti-inflammatory, and Argan Oil has a zero rating on the comedogenicity rating scale (which means it is not likely to clog pores).

Edelweiss Stem Cells Edelweiss is a small white flower that grows in harsh climates. Compounds derived from its stem cell are known to provide antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits to our skin, such as helping prevent collagen breakdown.

Witch Hazel

Witch Hazel is a flowering plant native to North America and parts of Asia. It has been used for centuries for a variety of skincare needs. Today, it is used primarily to help tighten pores and remove excess oil, dirt and bacteria.

Open a treatment pouch and remove the patch(es). TIP: Keep patches on the liner and place on a firm, flat surface to snap the connector buds onto each patch.
Peel off patch(es) from liner and press gently onto skin. Use a mirror to help position. Treatment starts automatically when the patches make contact with your skin. TIP: Tuck the cords behind your ears.
Treatment stops automatically after 30 minutes. Be gentle when removing patches. Hold skin taut and peel off slowly to avoid excessive pulling on your skin. Dispose of used patches.
EYE PATCH PLACEMENT: Position carefully so that the patches do not cover the lower eyelids. The skin in this area is too thin and delicate for direct patch treatments. FIRST WEEK: Quick-start your results with two patch treatments for the first week. Allow two to four days between patches.
