Let’s Hear It For Denial

Let’s Hear It For Denial!

Your life today is the result of your thinking of yesterday. The Universe says “yes” to every thought. If you want it to be different tomorrow, you need to sow the seeds of thought today. The first step is to watch your language. One of the most common declarations of limitation is in our unconscious use of common phrases. How many times a day do we say we’re sick of this or tired of that, or just plain sick and tired? How many times will we need to repeat “sick and tired” before we become healthy and energetic? Some of the Law of Attraction is about physical health. Most of us find it hard to declare perfection in the midst of apparent imperfection. Pretty soon, some come to believe the Law of Attraction doesn’t work, and they’re sick of trying. Notice anything? Cause nobody consternation By speaking of your operation For when you dwell on your debility It just could be you’ve reached senility. How’s your bad back today? Are your allergies acting up? Are you handling your drinking problem? What about your high cholesterol? Do all these things REALLY belong to you? When you speak of your disease, here comes the Big “U” with the “yes.” Sure enough, it’s yours. As long as you own it, you can’t get rid of it. I could go on in great detail about the benefits of all this, but I’m tired of preaching to you. Ooops! Visualize your health and energy. Maintain the picture of perfect health, regardless of what’s right before your eyes. That way, the only thing The Universe can say “yes” to is that picture of wholeness. Limiting beliefs about health are just beliefs. Food, too. Yet many declare some diets good for us, and others we must shun at all costs. As the vampire recoils from the crucifix, so goes the vegan at the sight of Golden Arches. Remember the initials of Belief System. My own BS proclaims the gastronomical benefits of a good filet mignon. My taste buds applaud the savory blend of onions, grease and whatever found within the buns of the White Castle burger. But seriously, folks—it’s OK if we haven’t yet reached sainthood. Sure it’s an unlimited Universe. Our connection with It operates to manifest our thoughts. But our BS still speaks of limits. We buy into them when the game is to obliterate them. Denial helps.
