EUROPE We highlight our offices in the ports of Lisbon, Valencia, Genoa and Istanbul, as privileged and strategic locations in this region and references in our company in terms of maritime transport. The company's headquarters are in Portugal. In 2016, after the acquisition of Transitex by Yildirim Group, the investment on the Turkish market began and we have already opened offices in Istanbul and Mersin. Transitex is well-known by its diversified logistics solutions, supported in this region, among others, by the following assets: > Elvas Terminal, this logistics platform has been crucial to one of Transitex's business clusters since 2005. This facility is located in a premium region in the border between Spain and Portugal and it is a place of connection between the Portuguese ports and the Iberian Peninsula. A significant part of the exports from the Spanish Extremadura and adjacent communities, are loaded by truck and train and then moved through portuguese ports from where they are shipped. This platform has a capacity of 650 TEUs and has a warehouse of 900m2, which allows a diversification of our business, operating both FCL and LCL, and where five trains per week are loaded, each one with capacity up to 50 TEUs. > An authorized export warehouse, type B, at Freixieiro (Oporto), an important consolidation and cross-docking platform. The proximity to Leixoes Port is one of the advantages. There are regular LCL loadings to the African and American markets. > About 40 generators suitable for intermodal (road/maritime) transport of refrigerated containers, an essential condition to maintain the cold chain. Due to the growth of the reefer cargo segment, which represents 15% of the volumes carried by Transitex Europe, the company has specialized teams in this business area in Lisbon, Valencia and Genoa. Transitex is the number one freight forwarder in fruit exports from Europe to Latin America, a result of years of experience and motivated by the trust placed in us by European exporters. Further to the assets we own in the region, the human capital of the company is an highlight. Experienced teams with solid know-how, people from different nationalities, cultures and proficient in several languages, are able to create efficient logistics solutions from anywhere in the world, in accordance with Transitex's values and corporate culture.

In this region, Transitex has excellent credentials in the transport of machinery and project cargo, containerized or break bulk, as well as in the various LCL services from Europe to Angola, South Africa and Mozambique's ports and the connection from these to hinterland countries using our own warehouses, trucks and vans. The strong presence in Africa, as well as the know-how acquired in other markets in the transport of fresh fruit, resulted in an increase of Transitex's local market share. The company presents innovative and competitive solutions that allow the export of fruit from South Africa through the Maputo corridor, as well as from our Cape Town branch which is critical in exports from this port. The success achieved in the hinterland corridors of Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe, from Mozambique; the importance of Transitex Angola in the logistic support to the most relevant construction works carried out in this country in recent years; the synergies between South Africa and Mozambique, resulting in contracts with companies of worldwide reference and a steady flow of cargoes between these two countries; the capacity of our team to provide tax and customs advisory, are some of the many advantages to be retained from Transitex’s presence in Africa.
