1983 California & the Grand Canyon

Rental car excursion of Southern California, Las Vegas, and a hike down (and back) from the south rim of the Grand Canyon to Phantom Ranch. Other sites included the San Diego Zoo, Cabrillo National Monument, Kings Canyon National Park, flash flooding in the Mohave desert (scary), and the Hoover Dam. A quintessential American Road Trip!
