Cleveland, OH by Brad

I was actually born in Cleveland. I don’t remember any of it, though, since my family moved to St. Louis when I was one. Back when Kunho and I were planning out our route for the trip, in the early stages we pulled out a large map of the United States and began circling cities. We started with the obvious ones, the big ones, the unavoidable ones—New York, Washington D.C., Chicago, San Francisco, etc. It was an exciting and liberating feeling. We obviously couldn’t hit every city in the country, but often our rationale for circling one city or another was simply “I would love to see that city.” For such a reason I circled Cleveland, Ohio. Even though I was born here I knew nothing about it apart from its city nickname, “the mistake on the lake.” As we were going off

more about the place where I was born. When we arrived at Cleveland we Midwestern city boasts broad skies over regal tall buildings downtown, and a pleasant (at least when we were there) lakefront clime. One of my favorite moments, obviously for personal reasons, was near the end of our stay here when we visited the hospital where I was born. It was a hospital like any other, but it was a special thing to see for me. I stood in front and took a picture, and then we hopped in the car and drove off to our next destination.

Like at most every city hall, accessibility is taken seriously at the ble; an alternative accessible entrance is available in the back.
