The great scenic railway which dates back to the opening of

Luna Park

in 1912, is the oldest continuously

operating wooden roller coaster in the world. There’s also a Luna Park in Sydney.

Parliment House is one of the largest

buildings in the southern

hemisphere, it cost $1.1 billion to build and has more than 4500 rooms. When Parliament meets, 4000 to 5000 people work in the building.

Bondi Beach is one of the most visited tourist sites in Australia, about 2.6 million people visit Bondi Beach each year. On a busy day, it is estimated that about 40,000 people can visit Bondi Beach in one day. Can you imagine how crowded that would be!

a n a n a B g i B was one of The Australia’s first big things. It’s a banana plantation and has a really big banana walk-through model. There are also so many fun things like laser tag, mini-golf, ice skating, a theatre for learning, a toboggan ride and a water park.

The NTis home to the world’s largest wild crocodile population, with more than 100,000 of the predators in the wild. The Adelaide River is a river near Darwin highly populated with saltwater crocodiles where you can see them jump up next to the boat to grab food.

Monkey Mia, the friendly

pod of wild bottlenose dolphins regularly swim to shore to interact with humans up to three times daily as they have done for more than forty years. You can stand knee-deep on the water’s edge and help to feed them.

Uluru is 348 metres above the surrounding plain. That’s higher than the Eiffel Tower in Paris. If you walk right around the base of, you’ll discover the rock has a circumference of 9.4 km.
