Everyone still loves print

Print is not dead...

Travel News Namibia has been in circulation as a print publication since 1993. Over these many years it has undergone many transformations, but the reality is that everyone still loves the feel of a beautifully produced print publication in their hands. Thus we still circulate print copies of Travel News Namibia to our loyal reader-base. It is sold regionally in Namibia and South Africa at beloved stores including Superspar, Checkers, Pick ‘n Pay and Exclusive Books, among many other bookstores, as well as Trade Fairs attended by NTB and MEFT. Physical publications are also available on a personalised subscription basis and we courier copies across the world!

It’s having a renaissance!

Among the reasons for the rebirth of the ‘love of print’ include:

• Print is trustworthy : People tend to trust print publications more than the overwhelming digital space filled with fake news and low quality content

• Print is nostalgic : Readers long for days gone by where a luxury travel magazine was your armchair travel escape to wonderful adventures in faraway places

• Print is luxurious : There is an element of prestige and luxury to stories encapsulated in glossy printed pages.

• Print has longevity : A print publication lives on on bookshelves and coffee tables and gets picked up time and time again by different hands and read by new eyes. It remains long after the digital scroll has passed and can be enjoyed over and over.

Main target audience: Regional readers.
