New Zealand Incredible scenery, abundance of family-friendly outdoor activities and a tiny population of only four million very friendly people. Welcome to New Zealand!
Family-Friendly experiences in New Zealand Stunning untouched natural landscapes You’ll find that mountains, forests and coastlines in New Zealand are all surprisingly accessible with children. There are countless options for exploring on foot, even with little ones. Easy tracks for day walks abound, whether you’re looking for waterfalls, bush, lakes, cliffs, ocean, forest, or a combination of scenery.

INTERESTING FACT: In the South Island, the Dark Sky Reserve has been labelled as one of the best stargazing sites on earth.
Hot pools Underground volcanic and tectonic activity has been shaping the land for thousands of years. As a result, natural hot pools – particularly around Rotorua – are popular with locals and visitors alike. A soak in the waters of Kerosene Creek or Waiotapu Stream is uniquely relaxing. Hell’s Gate has the only geothermal mud baths in New Zealand, while Polynesia Spa is world-famous for its lakefront mineral springs. In the Coromandel, head to Hot Water Beach at low tide to dig your own natural warm spa in the sand. Thermal pool complexes are also found at the likes of Waiwera in the north and Hanmer Springs in the south.

Adventure Adventure seekers will enjoy the downhill luges, waterslides, car and motorbike races, jet boat sprints and spectacular ziplining.
Wildlife encounter There are opportunities to see whales, seals, penguins and dolphins in their natural habitat. Farm parks, wildlife sanctuaries and underwater centres bring the natural wonders of New Zealand to your fingertips. Feed, ride, watch and learn all about our farm animals and native wildlife.

Insider guide | North Island, New Zealand For first time travellers with kids to New Zealand we would recommend Rotorua and the surrounding area. It's only about a 3 hour drive from New Zealand's main International airport in Auckland. You can enjoy the number one cultural experience in the country at Tamaki Maori village, visit the Wai-O-Tapu thermal wonderland, take a walk out to the Whakarewarewa (redwood) forest, and then have some fun at the famous luge. An hours drive in different directions will take you to some of the top places to visit in New Zealand. South is Lake Taupo, both a great place to relax and the adventure capital of the North Island. Inland is Hobbiton for Lord of the Rings fans (a little further in you will find the incredible glow worms at Waitomo Cave), and a short trip East will take you to family friendly Ohope beach.

One of the best parts of your trip might be the return journey to Auckland, where you can visit some of the best beaches in New Zealand if you follow the east coast. There's Mount Maunganui, Whangamata, Hot Water beach (where you can dig your own 'spa pool' on the beach as the heated water rises - kids love it), and Cathedral Cove (one of the most Instagrammed spots in New Zealand) to name a few.

8 Tips how to photograph your family vacation for a photo book An outstanding photo book begins with choosing a theme. You want your book to tell a story, so deciding on an overarching concept from cover to cover will do just that.
ruiz arolyn c @ uiz olyn R r a C : by Photo
1. Tell A Story One difference between travel photography and vacation photography is that travel photography is about the place, vacation photography is about you, your experience, your kids, your memories, your feelings. It’s ok if the pictures aren’t magazine-perfect, they’re yours. Spend most of your photo energy capturing photos that show how you and your family felt while you were there. And be sure to get in some of your photos!
2.
Interact with the environment
Don’t just shoot your kids posed in front of something. Get your family in motion, touching and relating to the other things in your frame.

3. Research your travel destination Explore itineraries and blog posts by other travellers or look at Instagram locations to see which shots inspire you and how others tell their story from that place to get ideas.
4.
Shoot a variety of formats
Shoot a mixture of horizontal, vertical, and square photos of your subjects so you have many to play with for later layouts.

5. Shoot a variety of subjects Go easy on the landscape vacation photos without your people in them. Instead, shoot a few, get people shots, food shots, architecture shots, weather shots, local colour, and local culture.
6.Capture details Blend in close-up photos of what caught your eye during the holiday. Either a delicious ice-cream cone in your child's hands or a lovely note left for you at a holiday home you stayed in. And certainly, take close up portraits of your kids.

7. Use Colour, Tone And Texture Look for patterns in colour, tone and texture. Pairing an image of broad scope with one of more precise detail is also a great way to add variety and balance.
8. Curate Your Images Think about your images collectively and how they will look alongside one another: adding variety through landscapes, portraits, candids and photos of details will give you a well-rounded archive.

7 the most efficient tactics
HOW TO INCREASE INSTAGRAM ENGAGEMENT for travel bloggers
Engagement is crucial for your success on Instagram with the new algorithm. But the good news is that it’s much easier to get your readers involved than you might have thought. Here are 7 the most efficient tactics revealed.
1
Tell a story Become a storyteller, offering ‘micro-stories’ via your captions, videos, Instagram Stories and profile. For inspiration, follow innovative Instagram storytellers such as Airbnb, Red Bull, Lego and Nike. Firstly. it’s much more exciting to read and secondly, Instagram takes into account how long your readers are looking at a post.
Leverage the comments you have You will never be able to generate discussions if you don’t engage with your readers in conversations. Get involved, reply to all the comments.
3
2
Ask Questions Ask interesting, specific and easy to answer questions. If the topic is exciting for your readers you’ll be surprised with the amount of comments you’ll receive. As a valuable bonus - you’ll know closer your audience.
TraveloKido Magazine

4
Comment on other people s posts Leaving a meaningful comment, sharing your idea or simply telling a joke on other travel blogger’s post might not just help you get discovered by an absolutely new audience but will help to build a relationship.
Choose the right hashtags Selecting the best hashtags for your Instagram posts can mean the difference between appearing as a top post or sinking to the bottom of the feed without a trace. Use a mix of trending and industry-specific hashtags to find the best to connect with your targeted followers. The number of hashtags you deploy is also critical. While Instagram allows for up to 30, 91% of posts by top brands use seven or fewer hashtags to get many likes.
6
5
Create posts worth pinning If your readers save your post, Instagram automatically will recognise the quality of your capture and ranks it higher.
Combine Instagram stories and posts Create anticipation of some important posts. And surely follow up your posts with the Instagram stories. Some of your readers might simply miss your recent publication, give them a chance to check it out.

From Imagination to Reality Words: Elena Chere
Earlier this year we published an inspiring story of Julia and her family who were fortunate to full-time travel the world for 10 months and enjoy such beautiful countries as Japan, Italy, Portugal, Iceland, Greece and many more. The most fascinating part of the story was that Julia had created a vision board of their dreams and aspirations a few years before the actual trip. It had pictures of places from all around the world... more places and experiences than they had money or time for… It seemed simply impossible to embark that kind of trip. What they never accounted for was the inherent power in glancing at their vision board daily. They could have never seen it coming that they would find a way to make such a dream possible... However, there’s no magic to creative visualisation. By repeatedly visualising an event or situation, you command your mind that this is what you want and this is what it must seek. And you unconsciously make daily choices towards that desirable experience. The more familiar you are with what you want the more likely this new reality will take place in your life. Here’s a step-by-step guide to your visualisation.

1.
CLARITY
Be clear on your goal. Being unclear sends mixed messages. Find inspiring images that depict exactly what you want: experiences, places, people and feelings.

2.
FOLLOW YOUR HEART
Listen to your intuition – visualise only goals authentic to you. Don’t waste your energy on somebody else’s ideas of how your life should be.
KNOW THE WHAT THEN FIGURE OUT THE HOW
3.
When you visualise don't worry how your goal will be accomplished. Set the intention of what you want. Too many people get daunted by how things are going to happen.
“Don't merge the what and the how together. When you do so, you are overwhelmed with the how and don't allow the what to gain an impact." - Lisa Nichols | Book ‘ABUNDANCE NOW’

4.
DETAILS MATTER
Use imagined physical sensations to make the visualisation vivid. Colour, time of the year, sounds, aroma, taste, emotions and sensory feelings such as touch. Infuse your visualisation with positive emotion and high desire.

5.
CONSISTENCY
Visualise every day. This is important. How long is less important than how intensely and how consistently.

6.
TAKE ACTION
Once you imagine your ideal future, remember to be in bold radical action towards your goals.
