Be a guest of our local friends and be treated to a khantohk dinner followed by a dance from the kids. Being a part of life here is an incredible privilege.

Get a taste of ‘old’ Penang. Forgo new motorbike taxis and explore the area from the back of a trishaw. Once a family trade, trishaws are now a dying breed.

Have an unforgettable encounter at the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre. The soulful eyes of these ‘wild men of Borneo’ are sure to melt hearts.

Dress warmly to climb Mt Bromo before dawn. Reach the peak in time for sunrise, where spectacular views will more than make up for the early start.
