Day 4. Vienna.
Embrace the elegance of Vienna as you drive around the Ringstrasse, taking in some of the city’s most famous buildings. On arrival in the centre, a walking tour will provide an insider’s view of sights such as St Stephen’s Cathedral, the Graben and Hofburg Palace. Afterwards, maybe visit the Naschmarkt and browse the stalls. This evening, you could enjoy an optional concert, featuring music from Mozart to ‘The Sound of Music’.

Melk. Cruise to the town of Dürnstein and enjoy a stroll past rustic town houses and taverns. Along the way, gaze up to the hilltop ruins of the

Day 2. Régua, Lamego, Pinhão.
As you cruise this morning, take part in a Portuguese language lesson, during which you’ll learn some essential phrases of this beautiful language. Disembark your ship in Régua and visit the picturesque village of Lamego
and the elaborately decorated baroque cathedral. While in Lamego, why not try one of the town’s famous specialties, Bola de Lamego, a smoked ham roll. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner of traditional dishes and dessert at a picturesque local quinta, a Portuguese winery.
Day 3. Vega de Terrón, Castelo Rodrigo.
Today, cruise across the border into Vega de Terrón in Spain. Enjoy some time at leisure before joining an excursion to Castelo Rodrigo. This tiny village sits atop a hill overlooking both Spain and Portugal, and features a number of well-preserved ruins, an impressive castle and a magnificent stone statue of Santiago Matamoros.
Day 4. Salamanca, Barca d’Alva.
Today board a coach and set off for the glorious Spanish city of Salamanca. This gorgeous city boasts sunlit sandstone buildings along with a majestic city square. Enjoy a Flamenco show with lunch and be entranced by captivating Flamenco dancers as they astound you with their stomping feet in a fiery performance. Back on
board this evening, savour a traditional Portuguese BBQ dinner.
Day 5. Pinhão, Régua. This morning, enjoy a Portuguese lecture on board as your ship cruises to Régua. Afterwards, continue to the riverside town of Entre-os-Rios. On arrival, enjoy free time to explore this gorgeous, vibrant town as you please. Following the Croatian War of Independence, Vukovar’s economy, infrastructure and culture were in disarray. However, today you will see the efforts taken to restore this city to its former glory. Today, visit the Vukovar City Museum, hidden inside Eltz Manor.
Day 5. Belgrade.
In Serbia’s capital, join a guided tour through the city. Visit a local family’s village, taking a tour of their home and barn to meet the resident farm animals. Stroll through the family’s fruit orchards to learn about the brewing process of ‘slivovitz’. This plum brandy is the national drink of choice.
Day 6. Iron Gates.
Get ready to witness nature at its finest today as your ship cruises through the Iron Gates. This spectacular series of gorges connects Serbia and

Day 7. Rousse.

Today, travel through green hills and rich vineyards to Würzburg. Admire its baroque palace, the Würzburg Residence. A walk through Würzburg Court Garden allows you to soak in the atmosphere. Later, you may wish to take an optional journey to the medieval town of Rothenburg.
Day 4. Miltenberg.
Be greeted by the friendly locals of Miltenberg and learn about their culture as you are welcomed into their homes for coffee and cake. Return to your ship and enjoy time at leisure. As the sun sets, watch the lights of medieval towns slip past as you cruise through the night.
Day 5. Rüdesheim, Rhine Gorge.

Day 6. Cologne, Brühl.
Arrive in Cologne and travel south to the Rhineland town of Brühl. Visit the grand 18th-century castle of Augustusburg. Built by archbishop Clemens August, this is one of the region’s

Go ashore to see Cai Be’s French Gothic Cathedral and visit to a local rice paper manufacturer. Continue on to Sa Dec for a guided tour. Here, you’ll see the home of Huynh Thuy Le, once the lover of French writer Marguerite Duras, and visit a Cao Dai Temple.
Day 6. Tan Chau, Border Crossing.
Transfer to a small boat for a journey along the tiny tributaries that snake around Tan Chau, step ashore for a rickshaw tour and visit a local island. Spend the remainder of the day in comfort on board as your ship cruises to the Cambodian border.

Day 4. Otranto.
Dock in the port town of Otranto, where you’ll have the day at leisure to explore. Day 5. Monopoli, Alberobello.
Today, you’ll visit Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage
site known for its trulli, which date back to the 15th17th centuries during the Kingdom of Naples. These unique structures were built without mortar by resourceful Puglian farmers. Facing heavy taxes, the farmers pulled out keystones to collapse roofs and dismantle walls so that the village appeared uninhabited to tax collectors. As you stroll among the trulli, observe their subtle differences as your guide shares knowledge on their architecture and historical context.
Day 6. Ancona.
Spend a relaxing morning on board as you sail to Ancona. On arrival, enjoy time at leisure to explore. Perhaps embark on one of the optional tours on offer, including a guided walking tour of Ancona or
