For the past five years, Travelworks has proudly collaborated with Accor Group, a leading global hospitality player, to establish and strengthen its corporate communication in the Greek market.
This milestone marks a journey of impactful storytelling, strategic public relations, and media relations that have fortified Accor’s brand presence across the region.
The collaboration began in 2020, a challenging time for the travel and tourism sector. Highlights include the successful PR strategies for the Athens Capital Hotel - MGallery, the NIKO Seaside Resort - MGallery, and the groundbreaking launch of Europe’s first Banyan Tree hotel, Angsana Corfu.

On November 29, 2024, the Greece Talks conference at the iconic Hotel Grande Bretagne, Athens, became a cornerstone event for the tourism and hospitality industry.
Jointly organized by Travel.gr and Proto Thema Group, the conference tackled the compelling theme, "Identity, Future & the Traveler," engaging industry leaders in an exploration of the evolving dynamics shaping tourism.
Opening remarks by Fotis Tsimelas, Chief Product Officer of Proto Thema, and Androniki Kolovou, Director of Travel.gr, emphasized collaboration as a driver for Greek tourism’s future. In October 2024, the grand reopening of the renovated Club Med Gregolimano on Evia Island marked a significant milestone in Greek tourism.
The event celebrated a €30 million transformation, attended by Club Med President Henri Giscard d’Estaing, Greek Parliament members, and local officials. The project underscored Club Med’s long-standing presence in Greece, dating back to its first destination in 1955.
The extensive renovation enhanced the resort’s capacity to 497 rooms, added luxurious beachside accommodations, and introduced new wellness and sports facilities, including a wellness area by Sothys, yoga sessions by Heberson, and padel courts. Sustainability was a key focus, with eco-friendly designs earning BREEAM certification, incorporating thermal solar panels, green roofs, and local sourcing.
Nestled between a serene pine forest and the Aegean Sea, Gregolimano now combines adventure, relaxation, and Greek tradition.

For a decade, the Poseidonion Grand Hotel has celebrated vintage charm and elegance through its iconic "Weekend in Tweed." This year’s event, held from October 25 to 28, marked its 10th anniversary, transforming Spetses into a captivating retro haven.
In collaboration with the Hellenic Bicycle Museum, the event featured classic bicycles, tweed outfits, and a nostalgic journey into timeless style.
Highlights included a treasure hunt through the island’s charming streets, a picnic at the Anargyrios and Korgialenios School of Spetses, and the much-anticipated Concours d’Elegance, which showcased remarkable vintage bicycles.
Guests enjoyed live music, gourmet delicacies, and signature cocktails, all within the refined ambiance of the Poseidonion Grand Hotel.
The event’s 10th edition not only celebrated a beloved tradition but also reaffirmed the Poseidonion’s commitment to blending culture, heritage, and hospitality.

As part of the pre-opening and post-opening activities for the Greek market, the property was introduced through a comprehensive communications campaign that positioned it as a standout destination in Crete’s luxury hospitality scene.
