The exam rooms provide comfortable seating for the patients and other visitors . A mobile chair is included for the medical facilitator in order for easy movement through the space. There is a projector in order to allow the patient and doctor to view medical results.

TINY HOUSE COMMUNITY The Farm at Penny Lane is looking to develop a tiny house village intended as permanent supported housing for people with serious mental illnesses. This village will be composed of 15 individual 325 400 square foot units, as well as a common house with a pavilion.

The students at the Center for Community-Engaged Design at UNCGreensboro, have developed three possible designs for the tiny houses in this community. Two focus on accessibility, while the third offers a different layout. The houses were designed to fit within their farm surroundings; and each include a partially or fully enclosed porch that can serve as an additional living space.

Joinery and movement weave the perfect enviroment for living. Revealing the mechanics of “how design works”, the Tectonic house is the ideal space for blurring the line between nature and everyday living. The Tectonic House embodies the joined ideas of the third year studio and the different opportunities of energy efﬁcient housing. Designed for the Glenwood neighborhood, the Tectonic House will add value to an established urban area in the midst of revitalization while offering pride of ownership to a population focused on decreasing their carbon footprint.
