Although Fairwater

Title has been assisting in title and real estate law since November of 2015, this thriving family run company has years of experience going back to the late 90’s. “My parents met in the late ’90s, Allen Falk, my stepfather was a private personal injury attorney and Pamela Falk my mother, a business owner, in 1997 they decided to offer a private real estate law practice,” recalls Megan Norvell, owner of Fairwater. From 2008-2015, she worked as a title and shortsale processor for her parents and obtained her title agent license while also attending university in Boca Raton commuting daily for the position. It seems like real estate law and title runs in the blood for this family, as sister, Leaha Norvell also went on to practice real estate law in Boca Raton.

Tapping into her role models of the Florida real estate industry, November 2015 is when selected partners officially opened Fairwater Title Company LLC in Port St. Lucie, Florida. One processor and Megan solely ran the company for about 3 years until her mother came to manage the Port St. Lucie Office. Now, there are multiple offices for realtors to choose from in St Lucie County and Brevard Counties settling transactions all over the state of Florida using technology that allows Fairwater to accommodate clients around the world as it pertains to Florida real estate. “Even though we as a family have become business owners individually or partnered, we have a shared vision and strong work ethic. We speak to each other every day and rely on each other, and there is a high level of trust and loyalty.”

Outside of work, this mother and daughter team enjoy conceptualizing new businesses and discussing financial-related topics. Yet, there is also a shared love of music that takes up some of their evenings as well as multiple community events and travel that helps to keep these ladies busy. Although it is the advice of one’s mom and the ability to process what it means that has Megan feeling so blessed. “Read, save your cash, and pay off your credit cards! The market crash was an experience that was frightening, and they kept up full operation in Lake Worth during the real estate downturn while many title companies and real estate law firms permanently closed their locations. We watched them track, plan, save, and invest in that real estate market. Other than their expert advice, the housing bubble and crash gave me the best training to problem solve in the market today.”

The truth of success in business is trust. “It is important to stay relevant in present market trends and technology, but it is more important to give our clients tools and strategies that work.” Fortunately, with the family’s long history in the region, they have a lifetime customer base that stems from getting genuine feedback with each transaction and implementing changes immediately if need be. That transparency lets their clients know they are listening to them. Fairwater Title Company works diligently to stay relevant in this present market’s trends and technology. Yet, the team believes strongly that the multi-generational and culturally diverse staff gives a better experience to their customers and coworkers alike.

“Our company may be offering the same products and tools as our competitor in our local market but the experience of being our friend in business trickles down to the broker/realtor’s buyers and sellers. Recommendations from friends and family go above all other forms of advertising and maintaining the diversity of thought, values, and personalities is what really matters.”
