Aboyne Highland Games makes a welcome return

After an absence of three years, organisers have confirmed that Aboyne Highland Games will be held on Saturday 6th August. It will mark the first time since 2019 that the games has been staged. There are almost 100 traditional events and competition classes taking place including Highland Dancing, solo piping and fiddle competitions, pipes bands, light and heavy athletics, tug o’ war and a hill race. Photographer Logan Sangster and his team, are celebrating the business’ 40th Anniversary this May. The Banchory-based wedding and portrait specialists are also known for their support for community fundraising efforts and Logan’s portraits of the Royal Family at Balmoral.

Logan has just been crowned Photographer of the Year at this year’s Top Tier Wedding Awards, He is the first photographer to have been awarded this accolade twice.
