Examining Lucid Dreaming In blockbuster movies like Avatar and Inception, lucid dreaming is shown to enable powers outside the dream world. New research by Anthropology professor Dr. Roger Lohmann is confirming that this Hollywood representation is similar to real traditional practices, showcasing how some cultural worldviews direct people to purposefully act while dreaming to change the waking world. His fieldwork in Papua New Guinea among the Asabano people has further explored how they use dreaming as evidence for and contact with supernatural beings.

Psychology (B.A. or B.Sc.) Psychology is defined as the scientific study of behavior and the mind. You will study the principles governing behavior through lectures, labs, seminars and research.
