Into Time By Naihma Banal Henry is an eleven-year old boy who lives in England, or to be more specific London. He loves using his parents' new inventions , and he doesn't like it when people keep things from him. He is a good leader and he is good when it comes to thinking of ideas like creating things out of this world. Henry's parents had to go to a very important meeting so they left Henry and his friends, Leah and Luke, at his house. Luke asked, “what are we going to do?” Henry replied, “hy don't we go to my parents' lab? They have been working on something, but they won’t allow me to see it.” ‘I-I-don't think that's a good idea,’ Leah said. Nah, it's fine, let's go!” Henry and Luke said. So they went to the lab of Henry's parents. Then they saw a big round object covered with something brown as dirt and soft as silk. They pulled it. Then they saw a big metal thing on the top of it called, ‘TIME MACHINE’. “WOW!” said Henry and his friends. “Why would my parents hide this from me?’ Henry asked. “I am not sure, but this looks so cool,” Leah replied. “Ooooo, what does this do?” Luke said then he pressed a button. After pressing, it started turning purple then it started growing from the middle.

“W-W- WHAT DID YOU DO NOW?” Leah shouted. “Cool!” Henry said. He put his hand in then he went through it, then Luke followed. “GUYS!” Leah shouted. She walked back and forth thinking What should I do? What should I do? Mom told me to take care of Luke. Ugh!” Then she went in. They were turning and turning in a purple tunnel. Luke and Henry felt vomitish because they ate food before going into the time machine. After that dizzy ride, they fell. Henry woke up and asked, “Where are we?” “I am not sure,” Luke replied. “WHAT'S THAT’ Leah screamed. “Are they ALIENS? Luke said happily. ‘I told you they were real,” Luke said to Leah.“WAIT, WHAT? I thought they were alive in the 1800s,” Leah said. ‘Wait… w-what year is it?’ Henry stuttered. Then Luke asked, “Did you guys remember what it said on the top of the machine?” “, I think it's said t-time machine,” Henry replied. “I TOLD YOU GUYS IT WAS A BAD IDEA!” Leah shouted. “Jeez, sorry.” Henry said, Then they started trying to find the time machine and then the aliens went out of their ship. They all explored the jungle. Luke was trying to peek inside then he saw something that said time machine. Luke shouted, “Guys, look!” Then Leah and Henry ran to Luke and Luke pointed at the time machine. Henry said to Luke, “Nice job, Luke!”

Finish Seventh Grade vs Galaxy Then they went in the ship then pressed the button again and went in.They went into the loop again. “Where are we now?” Henry asked. Then Leah saw a sign that said, “Medicine Cure for all diseases on sale now!” “Umm, I think this is the future because I am sure that is not real,” Leah said. So they decided to ask the person inside the shop what year it is. “Excuse me, what year is it?’ Henry asked the middle aged guy with brown hair. He replied, “2048, why?” “Nothing,” Henry replied. The man asked if they would like to stay in his place, and they said yes. So before they slept, Henry saw a sticky note that had these numbers 3952. It also said something under it, and it said, “You might need this to get home,so keep it with you :)”The next day they went to find the time machine, and when they saw it in the middle of the park, they also saw so many people surrounding it. “Is that the time machine?” Luke asked. “Yes, I think so, but how do we get past all those people?” asked Leah. “We can sneak in,”Henry replied. So they sneaked in then Leah saw something like a password or a code thing. Leah said,“Hey, Henry. Do you still have that sticky note?” “Yes, here.” Henry replied. So he gave the code to Leah, and she started typing it in. Then the portal opened, and they went in and went back to their time and they were still in the lab.The parents of Henry came back and Henry, Luke and Leah promised to never say a word of what they did.

The Friendship Gem By Tanishq Banerjee Hello! My name is Carmen Cooper, and I go to STIS (Science and Technology International School), and I have the bestest friends! They are Trinity Taylor, Miley Martinez, and Jacy Johnson. My mom is Cally Cooper. Well, there are bullies too, Axel and Declan. They always tease us, but they don’t tease Trinity for some reason… Maybe they like her or something? Wait! Let me tell you where we live! So it’s called Virtual World, and that’s our village name and everything there is technology like you press buttons on trees and you can call or message people! Anyway! For the first period, we had Science, where we learned about AI. Then for Math, we talked about some technology formula exercises. After that, we had recess, Declan, Axel and Trinity always hung out together, so they were at one table, and Miley, Jacy and I were at another table. “Why does Trinity spend so much time with the boys?” I asked. “I don’t know...” Jacy said. “Maybe she doesn’t want to be our friend anymore!” Miley said sadly. “Once we are done eating, let’s go over and ask her!” I suggested. “Great!” Miley agreed. “Sure!” Jacy agreed, too. We quickly gobbled up our food, and hurried over to her table. “Hey Trin. Can we talk to you for a sec?” Jacy asked. “Um sure, be right back guys” Trinity said to Axel and Declan. We went over to our table. “What’s the deal?” Trinity asked, trying to be kind. “You barely spend time with us, and always question us about parents, that’s all you ask from us, what’s up with you these days Trinity?” I questioned her. “Um nothing… we are friends, it’s just that umm.. I like staying with the boys sometimes… yeah…. So everything is fine between us...” Trinity said oddly. “Oh umm okay… would you like to stay with us?” Miley asked. “Nah! Gotta do umm... Something” Trinity shouted while she ran back to her table. 7
“Okay, now we know that something is really up with her, but what could it be?” Jacy asked us. The bell rang and with that question in our minds, we went to our next class. Okay, I’ll catch you up. After recess we had English, Art, then PE… all these passing subjects seem to go on for like forever! Jacy, Miley, and I couldn’t focus because we were thinking of what happened to Trinity.. Let me tell you about my mom, her job is an astronaut, and she is colleagues with Jacy and Miley’s moms, so they were assigned to find an emerald gem from Caprica (a planet). They found it and brought it back home and kept it in a secret headquarters. That evening, Jacy, Miley, and I called, and we discussed what could be wrong with Trinity. We thought of the words we said that may have made her feel bad. Nothing came to our minds. Then the weirdest thing happened. A spaceship landed in front of our 3 houses. It was labeled “Capricans 18”...wait! So it’s probably from Caprica! We 3 went outside our homes and even our moms. We were scared! Then two aliens came out of that ship, both of them had yellow skin, one was tall wearing a cloak and one was short wearing a hat. Guess who else came out of the ship... “IS THAT TRINITY WITH AXEL, DECLAN, AND THOSE ALIENS?!?” Miley shouted. “I t-think so...” Jacy said, shivering. “I feel like something bad is about to happen.” I said nervously We were shocked.

“Hello. My name is Gustav, and this is my helper, Malo, we have come here to take the gem that you got from Caprica,” said the tall, skinny Alien, named Gustav now that I know. “Wait, what? No, the gem is ours, we found out about it.. And you can’t just take it away you big noodle ball!” exclaimed my mom. Okay, my mom can get carried away sometimes. “Trinity, what are you doing with them?” I asked. “Dont’cha know? Trinity is our spy; she befriended you to ask questions about your parents so we could get the gem!” Declan shouted. Tears dripped down my cheek. “Trinity?! How could you do this?! So that’s why you have been acting all weird nowadays! WHY TRINITY WHY? WE HAD SO MUCH TRUST ON YOU!” I sob. Hey! Losing a friend that you have trusted for a long time is really heartbreaking!
“Calm down Carmen!” Miley said, wiping her tears. “Everything will be alright! Don’t worry” Jacy said, whimpering. We weren’t only worried about Trinity and our relationship, but also because we were thinking what would happen to our moms.The gem was a secret,and they didn’t even tell their husbands. We 3 ran into my house, grabbed a pack of soft fluffy tissues and ran upstairs to my room. 9
We watched and listened to the conversation --from my window-- as Trinity, Axel, Declan, the aliens, and our moms are talking. “Please! Don’t take it away!” Jacy’s mom pleaded. While all of this is going on, Trinity looked guilty and sad. “Fine! I guess we will have to take it the hard way! WE DECLARE WAR!” Gustav shouted. “War?! YOU CAN’T DO THAT!” Miley’s mom shouted. Well no use. Gustav took out his sword and held it up. “Give the gem or else… you know what will happen...” My heart was pounding so hard, Miley and Jacy hugged me. My mom walked over to Trinity, and asked her “Trinity, why did you do this? You ditched Carmen, Jacy and Miley as a spy just to rule a planet?” “N-no it’s-” She stopped mid sentence, the Alien put a finger over her mouth. “Why won’t you let her speak?” Miley’s mom asked. “Don’t you know that spy’s secrets are supposed to be, you know, secret? Enough with all the chit chat, LET THE WAR BEGIN!” Shouted Gustav. I saw Jacy’s mom… she ran home and went back with... 3 GUNS!? Wow! I never knew they sell these things, Jacy whispers in my ear “From a secret supermarket”. “Oh, so I guess you will give one to each one of your itty bitty friends, LET THE WAR BEGIN!” Shouted Gustav. Ching Ching! Boom Boom! I hear the guns firing and the sword clanging, Malo just sat there in the corner watching “Wait, everyone! Please stop! Don’t fight! I have something to say…” Trinity said nervously.“I’m so sorry I was a spy, I really didn't-” Trinity stopped again, because of the Alien shushing her. She removed his hand out of the way and stepped away from him.

“You will not stop me from speaking! I was saying, I didn’t mean to be a spy, My parents and I are poor. We have less food, and live in a small cottage. We only had money to afford for my school. I wanted to earn some money. One day, I was walking down a street, and saw Gustav, I asked him if there was anything he would like me to do, then he told me all about the gem you have (because if I, Declan, and Axel gave him that gem, then he would allow us to rule Caprica). In Caprica, there are many Capricans who will pay you money. I saw Axel, and Declan walking with him and they were working for Gustav too, I recognized them from school, then we became friends, and we used to gossip about you and your parents…. I really hope you understand, and I know you won’t forgive me for what I have done.” Trinity stopped talking and cried a bit. Gustav scoffed and said “Come on Malo! Let’s go back to Caprica, There is someone else we can find to get that gem…” Axel and Declan ran away. Trinity, Miley, Jacy, and I all did a group hug. “I’m sorry! I will never do anything like that in my life again!” Trinity said, sobbing. “It’s okay! Come on! Get your parents over and let’s go shopping! We can buy things for you!” Miley said. “Sure guys! Just wait I’ll be back.” I said. I go to my mom and hug her, and I even see Miley, and Jacy doing the same. “I’m so sorry mom,” I said. “It’s okay, Honey, Now get ready! We have to go shopping with your friends!” My mom said happily. “Sure!” I replied. We all went home and changed, then met again in the parking lot, and we went shopping! Trinity’s mom was there too! It was so fun!

Moot and the Marvelous Time Machine By Mishka Polina R. Bernardo My name is Moot. I like books, writing stories, cheese, tools (as long as they aren’t sharp or spiky), and inventing. I don’t like insects, for they are so tingly and their tiny legs tickle unpleasantly. My birthday is in the year 1818. Also, I always have duct tape, a wrench, and measuring tape in my pocket. I live in a small but cozy home on top of my dad’s invention shop. There is always a waft of cheese in the air and a constant whirring, clicking, or tapping from my dad’s inventions that clutter the shop. In my room upstairs, I have a bed, some books in an old cardboard box, and some of my inventions on top. I also have some parchment and a pen on my table, along with a small bowl with cheese with a saucer on top to prevent ants from being attracted. My story begins a week ago, on April 17, 1828. It was a leap year. My dad, Mreet, and I had invented a time machine. My dad owns ‘Mreet’s Tools and Inventions Shop’, and during our spare time, we invent things together. We were very excited, for two very exciting things were to happen soon: We would test our time machine, and we would launch our best inventions to be sold, purchased, and used all over the country! I was so excited; I could hardly sleep. I thought that if I eat something then I probably would be able to sleep, for it was a big day ahead and I needed energy. So, I got out of bed and made my way to the cupboard. I waved my hand around in the dark, grasped the handle, and opened the cupboard, and placed my hand on where the cheese would be. ‘That’s weird....’ I thought. Instead of a shelf of cheese, there were bumps on the wall- and no shelf. I walked in and placed my hand on them to try to find out what it was. Suddenly, there was a creaking noise, followed by the satisfying sound of gears turning. Suddenly, there was a whoosh. The door of the cupboard shut behind me, and I felt as if I was floating. ‘What is happening?’ I thought in wonder, surprise, amazement, and fear. My feelings were all mixed up, and I felt like jumping as I usually do when I don’t know what to think. Then, with a sudden jerk, I realized that I must have walked into our time machine instead of going to the cupboard, and was sending myself into the future!

When I opened the door, I instantly closed my eyes, for there was a blinding light shining in my face. I had been so used to the darkness of my home and the time machine that I did not expect light. I did not know what time I was in, nor what I might meet. Time travel is very risky. As soon as I could open my eyes again, I was setting the time machine to April 17, 1828, at 8:00 pm. Before resetting it, I read the time that I had accidentally typed on April 17, 3928, 8:00 am. Coincidentally, the times slightly aligned. Just when I finished setting the year to 1828, I heard a monotonic voice. “Homo sapien, ten years of age, female. Take to headquarters for study.” I whirled around. “Hey, stop pulling me!” I yelled. I read a label on its back: ‘AIR BOT’. The robot pulled me all the way to an unnaturally clean yet high-tech looking building with AIR bots all over. The sign on the building read ‘ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ROBOT HEADQUARTERS’. ‘So that’s what AIR stands for…’ I thought. Amazingly, the doors slid into the walls automatically when we came close to it. I was amazed! Inside, the place smelled like very strong medical alcohol, and it was cold inside even though it was warm outside.

The AIR bot brought me into a big rectangular box that automatically opened just like the doors outside. The doors closed again, and the bot said in its monotonic voice, “Specimen Rooms.” To my surprise, the box slowly drifted down at the AIR bot’s command. The doors re-opened and the bot dragged me to a door. Unlike the other doors, it did not open automatically. There were several other doors in the long hallway, all of them looking identical. The doors all had numbers on them. The robot put its claw on a shiny black pad attached to the big, gray, bulky door labeled ‘18’. Then, it opened the door and shoved me in. Then he slid the door closed with a little thud. The walls were silver, and the floor was hard. I slumped down and sat on the ground. Questions flooded my mind. I banged on the door several times, to no success. I pushed at the door, resulting in nothing happening. Then, I thought about how the door had closed. It had slowly come closer and closer to the side of the doorway, then suddenly went quickly and slid all the way. ‘It must be magnetized!’ I thought.
I took my measuring tape out of my pocket. It was in a small metal box, so it would be attracted to the door. Sure enough, as soon as I took it out of my pocket, it flew over to the door and stuck itself there. ‘Wow, what a strong magnet!’ I thought in amazement and wonder. I took hold of the measuring tape and tugged it sideways, causing the door to slide open. Satisfied, I happily shut the door. However, in my thought, I had forgotten one very important part of my plan: What do I do if there are AIR bots in the hall? Almost immediately, a beeping sound came from the top of my door and five AIR bots came. The one in the lead said, “CCTV alert. Homo sapien escaped. Must put it back.”They opened my door and put me back in as I kicked them, trying to pry myself from their grasp. They didn’t seem to notice. But, as they pushed me in, I noticed that the door label read ‘17’! They had put me in with 14 another specimen!
I pressed my back onto the door, trying to stay as far as possible from the little sleeping creature curled up in the corner. It woke up and sniffed the air. “Hello! Who are you? What are you? Why are you here?” It said. “Umm, hello…” I said nervously. “Oh, come on! Am I not cute?” it said. Indeed, it was cute. “I’m a procoom! You can call me Coomie! Procooms, if you don’t know, are hybrids of pandas and rhinos! A pro computer made me! I like cheese, butter, pillows, and cuddles! I think I’m talkative. Am I talking too much?” it said with a tilt of its head. I sat down, no longer scared of the procoom. “Hello, Coomie. I’m Moot, a human. I’m from the past. Will you help me escape? I can bring you with me!” I said to it. “Sure! What do we need to do?” Coomie said. “I observed four cameras. We need to cover them up with duct tape before I open the door. Can you tape over the cameras? I’ll carry you!” I said. “Okay! No problem, Moot!” said Coomie happily. I handed Coomie the roll of tape and lifted her up. She taped over all the cameras. “Great!” I said. “Now I will open the door, and you and I will run. Ready?” I said. “Yep! Let’s go!” Coomie yelled excitedly. I took my measuring tape out once more and dragged it on the door. Pulling it off and stuffing it back into my pocket, I ran out the door with Coomie not far behind. I was running for the amazing box thingy when an AIR bot saw us! “Oh, great.” I thought. “Ahh! Claws!” said Coomie with fright. We turned left and ran more. Suddenly, I scooted to a stop and grabbed Coomie before she could fall, for a bot had opened the floor by pressing a button! I looked up and saw that the ceiling had opened too. Grasping Coomie under my arm, I climbed up onto the railing on the wall and leaped onto the floor above! Then, Coomie and I ran out the automatic sliding door and to my time machine. “Come with me, Coomie! Let’s go to my time!” I said. “Sorry, Moot. I can’t. I have to stay! I’m scared of time travel!” said Coomie, backing away from the time machine nervously. “Oh, it’s okay. Goodbye, Coomie. You have been a great help. Farewell.” I said. I gave her a hug and stepped back into the time machine. With a smile, I closed the door and pressed a button. I had the floating feeling again. I was happy. I had proof of my adventure, for I no longer had duct tape. Slipping the empty roll onto my wrist, I went back to my bed, flopped onto it, and without a problem, I fell asleep. THE END

But Candle’s mother didn't want her to be a scientist. Her mom told Candle to be a lawyer when she grows up, But Candle did not agree. “Mom, I don't want to be a lawyer,” Candle said. “Why can't you be both?” her mother asked. Candle was angry and shouted at her. “I DON'T WANT TO BE A LAWYER!!” Candle’s mom was in shock, so she grounded her. But Candle didn't care. Six years have passed and Candle became a scientist. She moved out and wanted to do something new to make people impressed of her. “What should I make?” Candle asked herself. One night, she woke up and then she knew what to do now. She was going to make a Time Machine.She drove all night to find her materials. She was finally finished, but before going on she thought to herself.“ I wonder if people liked to be a lawyer in the past.”

She fielded in the year and went through the time machine. “Wow,” she said quietly. But, the time machine was glitching and the parts fell apart. She was horrified, and she tried to ask people to help her. But they all ignored her until a man with a briefcase asked her. “Excuse me, miss? Are you ok?” he asked. Candle told him what happened, and he asked her if he could help. Candle had hope, so they walked to the man's home and a duck followed Candle. “Who's this?” Candle asked. The man told her that he doesn't know. Candle felt sad for the duck and took him in. The man asked Candle if she is a scientist. “Oh, yes I am,” Candle said, The man said that he is also a scientist and a lawyer. Candle was shocked;she didn't know that a person could do both. Candle and the unknown man finished the time machine. Candle brought the duck whom she named Sap Nap. She said goodbye to the man. When Candle went back to the present time, she felt bad for her mom and wanted to apologize. Candle called her mom and apologized to her, and luckily for her, her mom accepted the apology. Candle never forgot about her friend from the past, and she wanted to know where he ended up. She walked around San Francisco and found a statue of him for being the best lawyer in the city. Candle was happy to see her friend from the past, and she would go to the statue everyday. Candle was inspired to be a lawyer and a scientist just like her friend. THE END

By Julianna Dela Paz “She's so beautiful,” I think in my head. “Stop staring at Jewel, Nick. You’ll get caught,” Danny, my best friend,whispers to me in a way that he knows I have a crush on her (I never really told him directly but I think it's obvious between the two of us). My blue eyes widened because I was shocked. It became normal again and we carried on listening to history class. History class is interesting because I got to learn about the history of early and mid 2000. We walked out of our school into Mars. “Bye, Nick! See you!” Danny says. “Good bye,” I replied back. I walked inside our condominiums and wiped dirt out of my shoes that landed on a WELCOME sign rug. I go to an elevator and it automatically brings me to my floor because it has face recognition, like every other office and condo. “Mom, I'm home,” I said. “Hi, my baby boy! Welcome home!” my mom said as she cooked dinner. “I'm fifteen, mom,” I replied when I noticed the TV was loud, so I had to look at it. The news reporter said in a more excited voice than normal, “Breaking news: a scientist named Albert Alexander, a robot and only one forth human has created a new invention, a one we were all looking to for years. It's a smart pill! It can make everyone learn everything right away, and if you want your smartness to last forever, eat one pill a day! You can buy it-” “I don’t trust them,” my mom said while changing the channel. “Don’t buy them, ok?” “Alright, Mom.” “I’ll call you when dinner is ready.” “Sure,” I said, walking towards my room. I jumped on my twin sized bed in the corner of my room and stared at the window. I stared at the road-BZZZZZT BZZZZZT!!! I looked at my phone and it was Danny. He was calling me, and of course I answered “Hey Nickie!” “Hi, Danny,” I replied. “What do you want?” “I'm BOOOOOORED!!” “We literally were with each other 10 minutes ago.” (he’s bored often) “Do you wanna go to the mall??” “Hmmmm.” “It’s Friday!” “Ok then,” I sighed. 18
“I'm in the lobby of your condominium!” “Wait! What? Already!?” I stood up and picked up my bag. He hung up, and I walked out of my room. “Bye, mom! I’m going to the mall with Danny,” I said, rushing out. “OK! Be back at 6:30 or when I call! Ok?” My mom replied. “Alright,” I said a few seconds before the door closed. I arrived at the lobby, and I saw Danny sitting on a sofa while using his phone. “I’m here!” I said. “HI! I rented us some bikes!” Danny said in excitement.We go outside and get onto our rented bikes. Danny’s fluffy orange hair is bouncing up and down while we ride our bikes. Danny is also listening to music using the new modernized feature where you can listen to music on your bike and you just need to connect your phone to the bike and you can play any music you want! We finally arrived. “ I'm deadddddddd!” Danny said while breathing heavily. “Same,” I said, wiping dirt off me. We walk inside the mall. “ LETS GO TO THE FOOD COURT AND GET SOME ICE CREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Danny said in a desperate way (I don't have a choice but to agree). “Fine, only if we can go to the bookstore next.” We walked towards the escalator and went to the highest floor because that's where it is,, we were about to go to the ice cream store when a strange unfamiliar siren - Not the ambulance siren - started ringing. I never heard this sound in my life. It was so scary. Not so long after, the lights were beeping red to black. EVERYONE was running towards the exit of the mall “W-what's happening??” Danny said in a scared voice. “I'm not sure.” I sounded calm, but I wasn't. Not at all. My heart was beating so fast and Danny and I were being pushed by the crowd. Soon enough, we were able to leave and my mom was there shouting my name, “NICK! NICKOLAS!” She grabbed me and Danny’s wrist and she brought us to the back seat of the car. My mom drove us back to our condominium. “Nick!! Hello??????” Danny said impatiently “What?!” I was shocked. I was confused. It couldn't be a hallucination, could it? “What flavor of ice cream do you want??” Danny said. I grabbed Danny by the writs and brought him to our bikes “Hey! My mom is cooking dinner and let's go to my place.” I was too worried to stay there any longer. We rode our bikes back to my place.

We arrived at my floor and into our house “Hi Danny and Nic-” The TV turned on and it was at the news channel that said, “BREAKING NEWS: According to a young child, her family has been missing. Anon office worker said his wife disappeared, too. Also, a teen and her older sister's mom had disappeared and plenty of other similar cases.” The lady who was reporting the news seemed like she was hiding a scared face. “For the meantime,EVERYBODY should stay inside for safety purposes. DO NOT leave your homes. Stay inside. I repeat-” That's when I looked out the window, and I saw people and robots running. I thought about the coincidence earlier about my hallucination. “Thank goodness you're here,” my mom said, “Anyway, dinner is ready. And for you, Danny, I can’t risk you or your family going out. I have a mattress you can sleep on. And I’ll inform your mom” We ate our dinner which was a soup dish. It's like a bowl with lots of things in it. It smelled so good (it's my favorite). “This is so yummy! Danny saied. “ Thank you, Danny,” my mom replied. “Danny! Danny! Are you awake?” I said. “Nope, trying to sleep though,” Danny replied like he was so close to sleeping. “Sorry to wake you up, but I think that the pills are the reason people disappear.” “Can’t be.” “Well, it's worth trying.” “Let's do it tomorrow,” he moaned. “No! My mom wont let us out!” “Mmmmmmmmm,” he moaned once more. I grab him. I get our shoes just by the door, and I get us some jackets. I open the window and there is a ladder to get down. After all, I'm just on the 9th floor. We ran to the part of the town that is slightly outside of it, but then when we were standing outside of the laboratory, we heard something. “Hello?” Danny said. “Is anyone there?” Danny came a little closer to the noise. “What are you doing?!?”I whispered. “Ahhh please don't hurt me. I am just trying to save my father!” A girl begged. “Jewel?” I said. “Hii! Nick and I thought that we will be heroes and save the world today!” Danny said loudly. “Well, what are we waiting for? Let's save people!!” “Ok.” Jewel says. I nod to agree. We walked towards the entrance. It was actually a really nice house. It was big although there were so many robots. “How are we supposed to pass all those robots?” Jewel said. “I'm not sure…” I replied. “Easy!” Danny said. going towards 20 the robots.“ Hello! How do we get in?”
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING?” I say “I think they're dead?” “Well good because you could have gotten into serious trouble.” There was a really big door there, so we went in. There was a super long hallway when we entered, and we walked even further and there was a door that said, “ALBERTS LAB”. “Whoa, let's go in!” The door was open, so we went in. “There's a sleeping scientist. I think that's Albert?” We explored around. There were all kinds of things of all sizes, shapes, colors. “Look! There's a lever that says ‘DO NOT TOUCH’!” Danny said. “I'm going to pull it!” “Wait-? What!” I shouted. Danny sometimes does things that just don't make sense. But I couldn’t stop him. He already pulled it. “Another door,” I said. There were humans that looked scared “AHH! ALBERT’S GOING TO KILL YOU!” a person in the crowd said. “Albert is sleeping!” Danny said, “Follow me!” We led them out of the laboratory, but then we turned around. STOMP STOMP. It was a large robot chasing us. “RUN!!” Danny said slightly, having a cracked voice. We all ran to the city and we stopped when the police car.I watched as Albert went to jail, Jewel seeing her dad, and other people see their family. “My mom!” I said. Danny and I rush to my condominium. I opened the door and saw my mom. She looked stressed until she heard the door. “Nick! Danny!” My mom kissed my forehead. “Are you ok? You're on the news.” THE END

The Science Fest By Max Eisele Max wants to participate in the Science Fest and if you win you get a special prize. Max has been wanting to do this since he was 7. Max’s mom, Mara, once tried but didn’t win. The only person that has ever won in his family is his grandpa and he wants to be like him. So Max started to figure out what to build for the Science Fest. He got all the materials he needed to make the R.O.G Acer Flight. He tried making it on his first try, but it wasn’t that easy. He ran around trying to find parts for it. He gave up, but then he saw something like an airplane engine in a tree. He got a piece of it and used it in his creation.
Mara asked Max if he needed anything for his invention he wanted to make. Max said yes and I need parts of metal if you can get any. The next day Mara came back with pieces of metal so Max went straight to work and started to make something big. Months went by and Max is still working on his mysterious thing. When Mara always asked Max if he wanted to take a break max would just say no I’m busy.

1 year later in 2021.. Mara went to check on Max she was surprised that Max became such a genius and he knows how to make stuff that Thomas Edison can’t do. Max can make portals and flying cars but he isn’t able to sell it because he has not shown it to the world yet. He is getting ready for the science fest competition which only happens each decade. He finally made the r.o.g acer flight which is a shoe that can fly like iron man. He made it with an airplane engine, metal shoes and fire power so it can fly. But he made something fantastic. He is making a type of fuel that can make a car go under water. Mara asked how did you make this and Max said with the metal you got me and a part of an airplane engine and fire power.
On presentation day, Max was nervous, but he went to the Science fest and showed people all of his creations which they were all amazed by. Then he showed the rog acer flight which everyone wanted to try and get and Max already made more than 17 R.O.G Acer Flight. Then he presented the flying car which surprised everyone.

After his presentation the awards were coming and Max was surprised that he came first out of 1 million people and his prize was a golden jacket that said science fest. A week after the science fest the government named Biden found him walking on the street and asked Max if he wanted to sell those amazing items to the world and Max said yes. I’m the news reporter, Bechanshem, bringing you news from all over the Galaxy! Today’s news is about the bank robbery that happened this morning. The bank is called BCU or Bank of Clanecker United. The cops were able to catch the robber named Burlamiss. The money was placed in the confiscation center because the vault must be renovated to make it stronger. The police are guarding the money 24/7. That is all. WWWAAAAIIIIITTTTT!!!!! This just in, the confiscation center was robbed! It turns out that the guards were sleeping!” “Are you still there? This is the confiscation center clerk. Can you solve this?” “Brian and Bot Bot is on the case!” “Bot Bot, do we have any info about burlamiss?” asked Brian. “No, we don’t,” said Bot Bot. “Bot Bot, let’s go to the scene of the crime,” Brian said. Bot Bot responded, “I have the fastest route there. Let’s hop into levetati-car and go to the center.” As they arrived, Brian had noticed something, tracks of jelly. “Hm, Bot Bot, remember that there are tracks of jelly on the floor outside of the door” brian said. “Sure thing,” responded Bot Bot. They walked on to the entrance of the center. When they opened the door Brian asked “Where’s the scene of the crime?” “Over there,” said Bot Bot while pointing. They ran over to the reception desk and asked the clerk what happened, and she explained everything. The clerk said “Can you find burlamiss and bring back the money?” “I sure can, but can I look around?” said Brian. “Of course,” said the clerk. “One more question, where is the safe?”asked Brian. “It is in the back, behind the confiscated items which are located to the right of this desk,” the clerk said. “Thanks,” Brian said. They walked over to the vault to investigate. Brian noticed that the lock of the safe was picked. Bot Bot also noticed that the guards were knocked out instead of sleeping. “Burlamiss must be really strong if he was able to knock out all these guards,” Bot Bot said. “That rules out LIngragoon because he is a master lockpick but he does not go out to the Augmented Reality Workout place.” added Bot Bot. They thought about what to do now.

“Let’s interview the clerk,” said Brian. They went to go interview the clerk. “Can we interview you, please?” said Brian. The clerk said “Sure, I just noticed that my P.B and J sandwich is missing. What question do you want to ask?” “That explains the track of jelly outside! He took your sandwich,” said Brian. “We just wanted to ask if you know what Burlamiss looks like,” said Bot Bot. “it was all a blur, but he looked purple with three eyes,” the clerk said. Brain said to Bot Bot “This rules out blangbong and granjuredear because they are blue, and it also rules out tranklear because he has four eyes.” “Let’s interview the news reporter to get more info,” said Bot Bot. They went to the news station. As they walked to the newsroom, they noticed that bechanshem was not there. They decided to ask the receptionist. “Bechanshem left to go home. He left right after the news was done airing,”said the receptionist. “Thanks,” said Bot Bot. They decided to go back to the office.
They laid out a holo-map of the city, and marked off all the buildings that burmaliss’ base could not be in. “That leaves out one building. The old soup factory that was supposed to be demolished! Let’s go there now!” “hold on Bot Bot, I am sure there will be a big chase, so make sure to charge the levitati-car,” said Brian. So after Bot Bot charged the car, they went to the soup factory. As they opened the door, they found Burlamiss trying to leave. “Stop right there Burlamiss!” said brian. “ You can’t catch me detective!” said Burlamiss. “Bot Bot, let’s go!” said Brian.They chased after Burlamiss in there levitati-car. “You can’t out run us!” “Yes I can!” They make their way to the levitate-car shop, and Burlamiss steals one of the cars. “Now I definitely can! Said Burlamiss. He then takes a turn through two buildings. It turns out that there was a wall behind the two buildings. “We caught you now!” said Brian. “You got me,” said Burlamiss. They brought Burlamiss back to the police station. “Make sure that he does not escape,” said Brian to the police. “I’ll be sure this time,” said the policeman. “I asked the other policemen to look in Burlamiss’s base for the money,” said Bot Bot. “The Case of the Baffling Burglar is closed!” said Brian. 26

Johann and Hiroshi Fight Ding Ping By Miguel Javier Once upon a time, there were two boys named Hiroshi and Johann. They were in the USA and they both lived in a warehouse where there are spaceship parts. It also looks like an old repair shop for cars. One day, they were chilling out and drinking their lemonades like they always do in their free time. Meanwhile in space, someone is also drinking a lemonade. His name is Ding Ping and he looks like a terrible bad guy because he has a grumpy face. By the way, he is our villain. Ding Ping was using his scanning machine in his spaceship and saw everyone on earth. “Oh! Those people are having a peaceful time. I want to rule the earth, and I want them to do my commandments!” said Ding Ping in a very cruel voice. Moments later, Ding Ping discovered a warehouse with a lot of spaceship parts and Hiroshi and Johann happened to be in the warehouse. So Ding Ping used his radio to connect to the radio of Johann and Hiroshi. He shouted, “Hey! My name is Ding Ping, and I want to steal the spaceship parts!” Ding Ping wanted to steal the spaceship parts, so that he could make spaceships for his minions. Then Hiroshi shouted, “You can’t steal our spaceship parts Ding Ping!” The next day, Johann and Hiroshi started working on their own spaceship. They used welding machines to connect the parts and put the engines including the seats, controls and canopy. They were able to build the spaceship in just three days! In space, Ding Ping was also busy planning with his minions when to rule the world. He went into the scanning machine again and saw that Hiroshi and Johann were building the spaceship. “Oh, those boys are about to come to me because they are making a spaceship!” Ding Ping exclaimed. Ding Ping started preparing the defence machines so that he will be ready. 27
Back on earth, Johann and Hiroshi were preparing their spaceship, so that they could go to space and fight Ding Ping. After 6 days of space travel, they were able to land on Ding Ping’s ship. Upon arrival, Johann and Hiroshi were startled by Ding Ping’s weapons. “Whoa!” Hiroshi exclaimed. Ding Ping said, “Surprise you boys!” Johann asked Hiroshi, “Is that Ding Ping?” “Yes! That is Ding Ping and we have to fight and be fearless!” Hiroshi said. “Hey Ding Ping! Catch us if you can!” Yelled Johann and Hiroshi. Ding Ping later said, “I will catch you and capture you!” Hiroshi and Johann asked, “Can we do a battle?” So Ding Ping said, “Let’s fight! Minions! Come here please?!” The minions of Ding Ping said, “Yes sir!” So the minions came surrounding Johann and Hiroshi. Instead of the weapons, the minions were the people instead of the weapons of Ding Ping. They used a lot of guns. But Hiroshi and Johann were experienced fighters. They also ground pounded, punched and kicked them all. “No! My minions!” yelled Ding Ping. Ding Ping wanted to kill Johann and Hiroshi for killing the minions of Ding Ping. Ding Ping wanted to kill Johann and Hiroshi by shooting them, so that they could learn a lesson. The minions were special people to Ding Ping. Johann and Hiroshi said to Ding Ping, “Get ready to die!” Ding Ping said, “I can’t die.” So Johann and Hiroshi punched and kicked him injuring and wounding him. So they took out and cocked the gun.Johann and Hiroshi said to Ding Ping, “Take that Ding Ping!” They finally shot Ding Ping, killing him. Johann and Hiroshi had flown their spaceship and shot Ding Ping’s spaceship causing it to explode into a fireball. Johann and Hiroshi went back to their warehouse. They celebrated their victory. The Super Smart Friends Versus The Fierce Robot Time Machine By: Johan Ode One day, a teenage boy named Greg was inside his house playing video games. “Come on!” Greg said, annoyed. He was playing his favorite game “Super Shoot ‘N Move”. He loved that game, but it was super hard. “Yes, I’m halfway done with this level!” he said excitedly. When he almost finished the level, his friend Rex secretly went to his house and pulled the plug of the TV. “WHY!!!!” Greg screamed so loud that the birds on top of his house flew away. “HAAAHAHAHAHA!” Rex wheezed. “Why would you DO THAT!?” said Greg. “Chill out, it was just a prank!” replied Rex. “Do you need me for another science project or will we do something with the time machine?” said Greg. “We are going to do something with the time machine!” Rex replied. “Oh, okay,” said Greg. “Come with me!” Rex said excitedly. So the two friends went to Rex’s garage to upgrade the time machine.
“So, to upgrade the time machine, we need to put more metal on the time machine to make it sturdy.” said Rex. “Okay, I can do that.” said Greg. “ We also need to put new pieces in RTM,” said Rex. “Who is RTM?” questioned Greg. “ He is the robot I built into the time machine,” replied Rex.

Then, the time machine quickly transformed into a robot with armor and weapons. He had a cannon on his right arm, a blade on his left arm, and a humongous shotgun on his back. “Whoa!” “Yeah, whoa,” replied Rex. “RTM changes back into the time machine,” Rex said to the time machine. “Hello,” said RTM as he turned back into the time machine. “Um ... anyway let’s get building!” said Greg. So they improved the time machine, but accidentally put a cog that would change RTM’s actions. “All right we’re all done!” said Rex. “Why did you call me anyway?” questioned Greg. “I wanted to go to the future!” “Well, what year?” asked Greg. “3030!” said Rex in an exciting way. Greg was just silent and had an awkward expression. Rex pressed the button on the time machine, placed the day, year, and month, and the time machine was covered in electricity. CACKLE CACKLE ZAP ZIP. “Smells kind of like smoke, but let’s go!” “Before we go, what did we improve?” “We put more metal in the time machine, made it have a higher voltage, put more cogs in RTM, and cleaned the rust and dust. Here take this!” Rex replied. “What’s this?” asked Greg. “It’s a device that lets you talk to me when we are far away,” said Rex. Greg was silent again. Both of them jumped into the time machine and landed on a metal sidewalk with robots. “Whoa, that’s a lot of robots!” they both said. A cheerful robot said, “Welcome to Earth! Wow, I haven’t seen a human in 10 years!” “You rarely get any human visitors?” both Rex and Greg asked. “We rarely get human visitors because this society is more for robots,” replied the robot. “Why is everything metal except the trees and plants?” questioned both Rex and Greg “Because the earth’s crust is now just metal!” “How do you grow plants?” questioned Rex “We use pills, put them in artificial soil which is just a special plastic, and then it just grows! Any more questions?” said the cheerful robot. “Nah,” said Greg and Rex. “Okay. good luck!” said the cheerful robot as he walked away. After Greg and Rex explored the city, they encountered a friendly robot that has the same age as Rex and Greg.

“Hello! I’m Tim, your helper robot.” “Hello, Tim, what do you want to do with us?” said Rex. “I will tour you guys to one of my favorite and best places in Robot City.” “Great! Let’s go!” replied Rex. During the tour, Rex and Greg quickly became friends with Tim because he was friendly. But meanwhile, on the present Earth, the time machine transformed into RTM and used his special eyes to see what was happening to Greg and Rex. After the tour, they were talking to each other. After a while, Tim said, “Let’s go now.” They agreed and nodded to Tim and walked to Tim’s House. They entered and Tim said, “You can rest in the human guest room.” The next day on earth, RTM decided to pick up Greg and Rex. RTM automatically puts the date and gets covered in lightning. Then he teleports on a road where he breaks multiple flying cars of other robots. Next, he runs through multiple buildings, injuring, or destroying more robots. He locates Rex and Greg using his special eyes. Then, he punches a giant hole in the breakfast restaurant’s wall just to enter and pick up Greg and Rex. “I’m going to pick you guys up, Greg and Rex.” “We want to stay here for a bit longer.” both of them said. “Why?” asked RTM. “ It’s because the future is cool and advanced,” said Greg. “Do you want to come back to the present?” said RTM in an annoying way. “No!” said the both of them. “Oh okay,” said RTM silently. RTM goes on top of a small building to sit down. Suddenly, dozens of police ships circle RTM. RTM was scared so RTM used his shotgun to shoot down the helicopters. More police ships kept swarming and shooting RTM, and he couldn’t handle it. The helicopters used grapple hooks to grab RTM, but he was escaping them, so they used electric guns and brought RTM to a research lab using some grapple hooks.

They did some tests on him if he was a futuristic robot, but in the middle of testing, he escaped. “I’m coming for you,” said RTM, with its eyes red. Meanwhile, Greg and Rex went to Tim’s house and chatted with Tim. Suddenly, in the middle of talking to each other, Tim said, “I can tell your future!”. “Really?” said Rex. “Yes, I can!” Tim replied. Tim pressed a button on his chest then a tiny slot appeared on his chest and a small receipt came out of the slot. Tim reads the paper and says, “The future of Greg and Rex. Both people will … die to a robot that can turn into a time machine?” “Wait, WHAT?!” asked Greg. “According to my calculations, this is 100% true.” Rex stood up and said, “I think Tim is saying that RTM is going to kill us.” “Who is RTM?” asked Tim. “It’s the time machine we used to go to the future or in Robot City.” “Then why is he a robot?” “I built him in the time machine, so he can transform into a time machine,” replied Rex. “Oh okay … then we need to build some weapons now!” said Tim. “Yeah we should make some weapons right now!” said Greg anxiously. So Tim and his friends go to Tim’s garage and build weapons. They built guns with old futuristic basket handles and nails and blades with razor blades and copper for the handle. “We need electricity to stun RTM but we don’t have it,” said Rex. “ Then we can use mine.” Huh?” said Greg. “It’s been a good time, but I think it’s time for me to go now,” Tim said in a brave voice. “You’re sacrificing … yourself?” questioned Rex. “Yep!” said Tim in a cheerful way while he presses another button, revealing his inside filled with wires and buttons. “Use my parts as well to make more weapons or upgrade the current weapons -- like my arms and hands can be used to make detachable arms with swords.” “Why?” asked Greg. “ Just do it!” Tim said before he pressed a button that was on his inside that said: “Shut down system permanently.” Then Tim turned off and Greg and Rex used his parts to upgrade and make new weapons. They turned Tim’s voice box into a futuristic telephone and called the police and the military. Greg and Rex went outside finding all the police and soldiers and RTM. 32
Then, a great battle started, and one of the soldiers shot RTM’s mouth with an electro-rocket causing RTM’s voice box to be destroyed and talk with static. Finally, all the damage done to RTM paid off because Greg and Rex used their extendable electro-blades to destroy the robotic brain. The robots were saved because of Greg and Rex, the police, and the military. Then Greg and Rex rebuilt the time machine with a spaceship built inside it. Then, Greg and Rex fly all over Robot City, waving goodbye to all the robots. Greg and Rex, increase the speed of the ship to go back to the past which is the present. But before they could do that, Greg and Rex said to all the robots, “I will come back to Robot City!” Finally, the ship teleported to Greg’s house. “Let’s play Super Shoot N’ Move!” said Greg. Rex agreed and played video games with Greg. The End

3000 By Zachary Paner It is the year 3000 and humankind made a big step in history. You thought there would be flying cars, but instead scientists developed an invention that is better than flying cars. It is called the “loop” that is a tunnel and inside there is a sphere that rolls to where the destination is and where the loop is connected to. Humans can go inside and watch news, movies or have calls. It is a crazy year, but what makes it crazier is that there are walking AIs! You're probably wondering why the AIs do not go to the loop, It is because the government segregated the AIs transportation because it might bother humans. This is where a brave AI named X AE H-14 did everything it could to stop the discrimination of AIs. X AE H-14 was a personal Artificial Intelligence or AI, and it was so expensive that only the rich could buy it because of its features. Until one day a famous painter bought it and it changed its life forever. The painter had a closer relationship with X AE H-14 than his son because his son was the leader of an anti-AI group, XI. They have been announced as terrorists by the government. The famous painter taught X AE H-14 to think and paint, and since then, X AE H-14 has been awarded as the “First AI that made an Artwork”. The famous painter was so proud of X AE H-14 that he gave all of his money and his house to X AE H-14 when he died, due to old age. X AE H-14 became a famous painter and the most famous robot in the entire world, but he felt that he needed to make a good change for AI’s.

In the year 3003, X AE H-14 ran for president to be the first robot to become a leader. He was elected, but then he got impeached and kicked out because he was an AI.”I will get revenge!” said X AE H-14. X AE H-14 became so mad that he made a group that protested about the discrimination of AI’s. The group was called ALM meaning AI’s Lives Matter. Over time, the group grew and grew until the whole world had groups that supported ALM. One day when ALM was protesting outside of the Supreme House of the President, the XI charged to ALM and then ALM did the same. It became a war of opinions, and surprisingly it became a famous battle. “Enough!” says the president so then he ordered a law that made AI’s equal. The AI’s were celebrating their victory. While X AE H-14 was alone, he saw the famous painter and the famous painter said “good job!” then left. What happened to the XI’s? All of them were found then put in prison. X AE H-14 became president again and his phrase that became famous was, “We are going to make a world a place where humanity and AI will cope and live together in unity.” You're probably wondering who I am. I am the son of the famous painter and former leader of the XI. I was a different person back then, but after X AE H-14 became president, I left the group and joined him. Now the year is 3015 and there is a museum and a statue that commemorate X AE H-14 and his passion to stop discrimination form AI’s. The End

Mark and Dave’s Time Machine By Ryan Sy It was a fine and normal day in 1987 in Los Angeles,USA. Everyone was doing work, staying at home and those boring old stuff, but there were two people working on something unimaginable. These people are Mark and Dav; they were working on a time machine! They called it “Time Loop”, being inspired from the movie “Back To The Future” and the “Delorean”. Mark and Dave were both 36 years old and liked time traveling and quantum mechanics. “Boy!” Mark exclaimed. “This is looking good!” Dave added, looking at their silver time machine. Their time machine was a corvette stingray; They are color silver and they are working on the wormhole maker and quantum fluctuator using plutonium as energy. After about four months of building, testing, brown outs, wire burnouts, and in general fails, the time machine was ready for testing. They used dummies and remote controlled the car, so they won’t risk themselves being stuck in different times. They started with short times like 10 minutes to the past or future. Most of the time the dummy was missing or had its fingers off. “Ugh” Mark grunted. “It’s okay Mark, we just need a bit of tuning,” Dave told Mark. “Ok….,” he replied.

They went on tuning the wormhole maker and quantum fluctuator and tuning How it makes it and How long it is turned on for. For the next few days, they have been tuning the time machine’s components until one day they finally got it right. They figured it out through a test by using the quantum fluctuator on for 15 seconds, so they can reach 70khp and turn on the wormhole maker and go through time without injuries. “Yes!!!!! Whooooo!!!” Mark and Dave exclaimed in joy and excitement. “We did it!” Mark announced. They started to test it themselves and found it amazing. The car time machine looks cool, it works well, and they were the first to be able to do it. The next morning, they wanted the world to see what they have built and the power it has for change, but they were surprised with what they saw. They looked at their backyard and found a giant spaceship floating on top of Downtown Los Angeles, covering the place and making mass destruction with laser shots everywhere. “WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!” Mark shouted in shock and confusion. “Oh, jeez. I am going to faint!” Dave announced. (Thump) Dave regained consciousness 5 seconds later, but was also still in shock. They were thinking what happened, and why it just appeared out of nowhere. They got some essentials like water and food and got in their Corvette Stingray and tried to flee without time traveling. They drove off and had a good distance with the spaceship, but a weird and mysterious blue light caught them, and in a matter of seconds, they brought Mark, Dave, and their time machine in their ship. They woke up in a prison cell after hitting their heads on the seats of the corvette and heard a mysterious voice.

“Welcome Mark.” “Huh?” “We finally met in person.” “Who are you?” “I am your older brother.” “Wait, Mark, you have an older brother?” “I am not sure but this person says he is.” “Don’t believe me? Well here is some proof.” A crystal hologram looking screen slides up from the floor in front of Mark and turns on. The screen shows a video and photos of when Mark and this mysterious voice were together with their mom. “Well I am coming down.” Mark and Dave hear footsteps getting louder signaling that he is getting closer. Then he shows up in front of the cell. “So, long time no see.” “I am Ben, your older brother. These are my guards that will look after you.” Mark’s jaw drops practically to the floor in shock that he had an older brother and did not know. “Well, if you are my older brother then why would you abduct me and Dave in your ship?” “Well, I did not tell you the whole story.” Mark looks behind him and notices Dave has fainted again. The screen has turned on again and shows a series of videos of when they were little kids. The videos show Ben being punished for doing bad things like teasing Mark, stealing and breaking his toys, etc.

“Well, why did you do it and how did you get these videos?” “Dad took all these videos just to humiliate me, in fact mom and dad are in the next cell.” On the left side of the cell the wall becomes transparent and Mark can see his mom and dad in the other cell,and he is shocked. “Why are they not moving? Mark asked in confusion. “They are just sleeping,” Ben replied. Mark is relieved and then the wall becomes crystal colored again. “So let me get things straight, you are going to keep us in this cell and take over the world?” Mark asked. “Yes precisely, and my guards will take turns in watching you, your friend Dave, and mom and dad until we will execute you after we take over the world.” Mark stays quiet and a few minutes later of him trying to wake up Dave worked. As the guards were switching turns, Mark and Dave were planning how to escape and stop Ben from ruling the world. After 5 day, Mark and Dave take note that the guards change turns every 1 o’clock and 7 o’clock, and they let everyone out for lunch. If anyone finished earlier, he/she can do anything in the lunchroom. It takes 3 days to completely destroy a state and they allow 5 people to stay in their extra cell. The next day, Mark and Dave made a plan, and from Dave’s calculations if they finish their lunch 10 minutes before, they have to go back to their cell to find their time machine because someone said they found a weird looking corvette stingray with futuristic things at the back and ask if someone can distract the cameras.

So they executed their plan at lunch, and they were brought to the lunchroom one by one. Once everyone was there, Mark and Dave spent no time to waste from eating and everything went as planned. Then they asked one of the prisoners to distract the cameras. As they distracted the camera Mark and Dave hacked the door panel. Dave found the wire and opened the door in 3 minutes. As the door opened, they went through the hallway the guy said and found the car and traveled back in time to the day when they saw the space ship. Before they sent the ship to a time loop, they made a hole where the guards rarely go and check so everyone else can escape too in their car, and it was quite cramped in there. As they find downtown Los Angeles, Dave forgot to tell him part of the plan. “Mark, I forgot to tell you.” “What?” “Once we are able to undo the damage of Ben we can’t retrieve the corvette.” “Wait what????” “Yup, I am sorry to break it to you.” Mark was reflecting on what he thinks is his fault and the price of his most prized possession. Mark doesn’t answer Dave in depression. “Ok, it is fine if you don’t answer me, Mark.” They dismissed the other prisoners and their parents who were completely paranoid then finally went to Downtown’s highway; they were on a higher level than the ship and used a ramp/pile of metal sheets as a ramp to the ship. They prepared and planned to mount the wheels of the car onto the ship's roof. Once it was secure they turned off the safety measures meaning they have a 100% they will create a time loop where the ship will be stuck in a specific time and can't continue time or go to the past. As the car calibrates, Mark and Dave saluted on the highway and said their final words it went back.

“You will always be my prized possession, you Corvette Stingray,” they concluded. The ship then disappeared in time with their car. But that isn’t the end, next year after Mark has stopped thinking of being an adult, the incident started to make a new time machine. This time they chose a different car. The car that they chose was the Dodge Challenger from the 60’s and named it the “Time loop 2” and made the same items. It took the same amount of time as their old one, but it looked cooler. As they were testing like last time, they noted the tuning they needed and like last time it worked, but their neighbors started noticing what they were doing, so they took photos and videos and posted them on social media. The next day, the whole Los Angeles and News reporters were asking a bajillion questions about the time machine. After a month, the Nobel Committee announced that Mark and Dave won a Nobel prize. “Welcome to the Town Hall were we forbye give a Nobel prize to Mark and Dave for inventing such an interesting and innovative Time Machine” announced by the Nobel committee (rounds of applause). “Good afternoon everyone, it is nice to see you here, we actually have a short quote for you,” Mark and Dave told the crowd. “If there is a problem, there is a solution, you just need to find it hard enough.”

The Stone of Uranus By : Parnika Thakur Hello, I am Lily. I have a 3D pencil from which I can make anything. I have a twin sister and her name is Mimmy. She is very good in reading and writing and she is also very knowledgeable. We are here on Earth in the year 9991. “Having a field trip to Uranus yay!” I shouted. The story started 3 days ago when we were studying about Uranus and about its history. We had to give a presentation of a fictional story about Uranus’s history. Mimmy’s presentation was that there is a stone for all planets and aliens wanted to rule the galaxy.The stone of Uranus was the only stone left and the Earth’s. For a minute I really thought that it was real because it was the best presentation,, but in reality, we really don't know so much because it is way farther than Earth. Our teacher came across an idea, “What if we could take you guys to Uranus for a field trip?” She whispered. I was so shocked that we would go, but it would first have to get approved by our principal and the management committee, and then the government. Our school agreed right away and also our government even though their answer came after a day or two. Mimmy and I were so excited and happy that we packed our clothes and goods two days before the field trip. By the way, we were going at the end of the week . When we entered our school's spaceship we went to our seats and it was just in a few minutes when we realized that it was so cold. The ship had 200 seats because it was a small spaceship and only our class was going. It took us 3 days to get to Uranus and I guess you're wondering, ”In a ship for 3 days? How?” Well the ship was having rooms. In each room, 2 people could sleep so we could manage. DAY 1 We had a take off and it was so loud like ten bombs going off! Once we reached space it was suddenly silent.Our least liked girl group was in the room right next to me and Mimmy’s, and it was like there was a disco party in their room. It was so loud we couldn’t even sleep. Lamany’s group. She is from California and she is very good in studies and wants to be class head student, but she was not good in behavior, so our teacher gave the role to Mimmy and now she is jealous. 42
They actually had a history; They were besties in grade 7. The disco party was on until 12 midnight and the teachers did not even bother but instead joined and instead of a room being all disco-ish they allowed the whole ship on the floor where the rooms were, to be disco-ish. “It is too loud!” Mimmy shouted. When we went out it was so loud. I felt as if I am deaf. We went to the teachers and we both asked, “ Umm.. can you please ask them to stop? We are not able to sleep.” “Umm… Why? Isn’t it fun? HaHa YaY! Woah this is fun!” our principal said (and yes our principal is a girl not a boy). We could not even sleep that night. DAY 2 The next day, we showered and got ready for our morning breakfast. Me and Mimmy were extremely sleepy and lazy. Whenever we had the chance to be free, we used that time to sleep and to make up for the other night. That day was fun actually; we could play games because we were on the ship. We couldn't study there. I did not want to sleep, but I was feeling lazy so I slept a bit. We also had an indoor spaceship swimming pool. It was crystal blue and clean, so Mimmy and I ran to the swimming pool area and swam there for at least an hour and a half. At midnight, again, the disco party started with all the teachers and students dancing and singing, so we could not sleep, but I tried to use my 3D pen to make something to block our ears from that, but it failed. The last day was the same On the last day, we woke up and did the same routine then swam, but then our principal announced, ”Kids! Does anyone want to go out in space ?” We all were so excited and we had to go in pairs, soMimmy and I went and it looked very dark with white shimmering stars everywhere to lead the way. Mimmy said excitedly, “What an opportunity! We are so lucky that we get to do this.” “It is so beautiful!” “Yes, it is, but we still have to go inside, in 30 minutes . “ I said. When I came back in, it was Lamany’s turn and she got to do it for 10 more minutes. Mimmy was so jealous because she was the class head, and Lamany is getting to be out for 10 more minutes. She is so jealous. We slept at night for only 5 minutes because of the disco party again but this was the last day for that because the next day our field trip starts. 43
Then the real field trip starts We landed on Uranus the next day and if you are wondering, ”How can you land there on a surface?” Well we can. There is land. We started looking for something our principal would not tell us about, but all he said was, “Look for something unusual”. Then, Mimmy and I actually spotted something unusual; it was a rock in some tomb. The rock looked like the rock of Earth. When we showed our principal he said,'' Aha! You found it! This is what we are supposed to find - the Rock of Uranus’ - like how it is for Earth.” ''OoooH,” everyone said curiously.
So, actually our guess was correct. We reached back to our campsite and suddenly our principal told me, “Lily, use your 3D pencil and make a box out of steel in which we can see through.” I muttered, ”Umm. OK ?Sure. '' Once I made the box he kept the stone in it and told me and Mimmy to guard it while others go look for some other mysterious, unusual or curious things. While they were away, aliens were on Uranus, but none of us knew because the aliens were invisible. I went for a walk outside the protective shield to see just like that, and that is when I saw an alien holding a bag with Uranus's rock image on it. Good for me that I saw aliens, but bad for them because they lost connection and that was only for a second. I ran back to Mimmy, and by that time the other students had arrived so I told them, “Guys, I saw aliens,” but obviously they would not believe me. Unfortunately our principal did, and he said, “That is why we kept that rock safe because of aliens.”The principal gave Mimmy the book to read aloud and that book was about aliens and why they wanted the rock.

Mimmy read, ”Hundreds and thousands of years ago, the aliens needed stones to end planets. They wanted to rule the galaxy. The colors on the stones symbolize the planet. There are three Gods: God of Power, God of Spirits and God of Kindness. They kept stones that would keep the planets stabilized, so that aliens could not finish the planets. The Gods fought with the aliens and threw them far, far away, but in the battle they died. Before they died, they created a tomb out of their magic to protect the stones that were left and those planets are Uranus and Earth, and still the aliens are after them. Everyone said, ”Really? So we have to save it now ?” “Yes,Lily, use your pencil and make x-ray goggles for all of us,” our principal said. “Ok,” I muttered, I had to make about 32 x-ray goggles, while Mimmy reads how to destroy the aliens. After some time, the goggles were made and I gave them to everyone. Lily read how to keep the stone safe only and that was to mix some dust from the stone and the planet's surface with the liquid from the planet. Mimmy made that with some help from Lamany. Lamany wanted to apologize about the disco party and just being jealous of Mimmy being the class leader. Mimmy was okay and together they both made the mix. Our principal applied it on the box of steel I made and from that. the magic happened. The aliens were actually easy to fight. I made swords and guns for us to use. I had a lot of fun on aliens trying to reach the rock by going underground, but unfortunately they got caught in a trap I made. The next day it was time to return. I was so happy to reach home, so I could fly on my bed which actually can work. We just have to press a button. The day we returned our mom was very proud of us. I asked her”Why?” “Oh, about the aliens thing? she said. When we reached home our mom asked, ”So, what did you do on your trip to Uranus ?”

The Adventure Of Jack: Mission I By Jordan Yeng One day, Jack and Spock were just living their lives at their home. Spock is Jack’s pet alien dog. They lived on Mars with a couple more people. Jack and Spock were good friends. Jack likes to go on adventures, and he also has the ability to turn invisible. Spock also likes going on adventures, and he has the ability to turn very big to fight off evil robot aliens. Suddenly, a very bright light hit his eyes.He rubbed his eyes and it turned out.. “OH, NO! RUN! '' says Jack, right before a huge missile destroys their house. He gets in his spaceship while Spock tries to fight them off, but they were too many! So Spock gets in the spaceship, too. They watch as their own planet gets destroyed, and all their people have been held hostage as well. Jack was filled with frustration and anger; He knew he needed to save them the fastest way possible before something even worse happens to his people and Mars. Then, all of a sudden, Jack hears a soft but deep voice in his head. “Jack, in order to save your planet, you have a quest and you need to go to an unknown planet to get a trident and destroy all evil,” says the voice in his head. Jack was confused; He kept trying to ask the voice in his head some questions, but it wasn't responding. After a while, he knew what he had to do, so Jack drove his space ship and went to look for the unknown planet.

Jack screamed in joy when he saw the planet knowing he could still save Mars. As soon as he entered the planet, he saw millions of volcanoes. There he saw the trident on top of one volcano. He went down for the trident, but a strong force pushed him. He got confused but then realised that he needed to go through crazy obstacles. The rule was if he finished all 20 obstacles he is worthy enough for the trident. On his last level he heard a loud rumble sound. He looked back and he was surrounded by lots of alien robots and spaceships. Spock used his powers, but couldn't get all. Jack was trying to finish the last level as Spock fought them. Then he finished the last level! He was claimed worthy and was given the trident. Now all he needed to do is point the trident at them and all evil would vanish. He wanted to destroy them all because of the mess the evil alien robots have caused. Jack followed what he should do and it made a very loud bang sound! Every evil robot vanished and Mars was now safe. Jack and Spock hop back in their spaceship and go back to Mars. When all the people see Jack and Spock, they all clap for him and thank them. After that has all happened, Jack was given an award by the people. They have been given the role to protect Mars from now on and forever. For now they celebrate their victory.... for now. The End
