BOHO CHIC was the inspiration for a few pieces of the new collection consisting of 9 orange crystal balls and 2 magnetite balls wrapped in an orange Tibetan cord. The collection has also introduced a few new materials as of yet not used in previous collections including a new ceramic and marble. It has been a truly momentous July month for JLS, with their busy schedule taking in television appearances on ITV’s Day Break, This Morning BBC’s Lee Mack Show and Channel 5’s OKTV! Their first appointment was the guest appearance at the M&M flagship store opening at Leicester Square, where they had the opportunity to show off their lovely Tresor Paris jewellery. Each member had their own individual colour to represent the colours of the lovely sweets. “To be fair, we did this a long time ago... the whole colour thing” Marvin told Christine Bleakly and Adrian Chiles. “It was only right that they wore the matching Tresor Paris bracelets”. Aston who’s a huge fan of Tresor Paris wore the aptly named Paris blue bracelet, JB, wore the Versaille yellow bracelet, Marvin made everyone green with envy sporting the Nice and Oritise wore the Strasbourg. The boys were joined on the red carpet by fellow X factor competitor and eventual winner Alexandra Burke. Tuesday was an early start with their first appointment at ITV’s Day Break, where they had hundreds of screaming fans waiting outside the ITV studios for their heroes for their first appointment of the day promoting their new single ‘She Makes Me Wanna’ featuring Aston do what JB, Marvin, Or tise and American artist Dev. Both Aston and Marvin decided to keep it real, by sticking to the bracelets worn a few hours ago on Day Break.... why change a good thing! while Oritise wore the stylist favourite Avalon bracelet which is made up of 5 white crystals and 6 turquoise stones. Before the boys performed their current single ‘She Makes Me Wanna’. After what seemed like to interviews back-to-back, the boys had time to rest for a few hours, sign a few autographs before being whisked across town to Shepherds Bush and Broadcasting House at the BBC to pre-record the Lee Mack’s All Star Cast, where the guys talked about their new single, and most memorably the status of Marvin’s relationship with girl group The Saturdays member Rochelle Wiseman. During a funny moment, Marvin was publicly forced to get down on one knee and propose to Lee Mack who wore a mask on with a picture of Rochelle. With rumours spilling over about a forthcoming engagement, Marvin put to rest these rumours and confirmed there is no engagement planned as of yet! Channel 5’s OKTV with Matt and Kate. Aston decided to double-up again, but this time choosing to wear the red crystal and black Tibetan cord Strasbourg and blue aptly named Paris bracelets. The boys talked about how they feel lucky to do what they do and hope for the success to continue.

W
elcome to the very first Tresor Paris Newspaper issue number 001. This is truly a momentous occasion. To think just 3 short months ago the whole creative team team consisted of 2 people. Since that time I have seen the team grow into a well-oiled machine, opening and introducing new departments. From Marketing & Branding, PR, Graphics and I.T, the whole operation now consists of 12 extremely hard working fabulous professionals not forgetting the lovely interns who also are valued members of the Tresor Paris creative department. We are truly in exciting times at Tresor Paris with, seeing the brand grow from a simple diamond wholesaler to an international fashion jewellery brand being worn by stars from all sections of the celebrity world. In doing so I have had the opportunity to meet some interesting people. The front page is dedicated to the boy band JLS who have been wearing the bracelets all over London from store openings, live television appearances and promos, the guys absolutely love Tresor Paris and have been kind enough to send us a photo of them wearing our new range! Also this month I had the pleasure of meeting the ever so funny and charming Richard Blackwood. Richard is on a big ‘come-back’ journey having had success in the early 2000’s with his own television show and a number 1 song, Richard dropped of the celebrity radar and at his lowest point did not work and found himself unemployed. Since that time RB has made the steady climb back up the ladder of success. This newspaper is just a reflection of how hard the creative team at Tresor Paris works. I am lucky to work with such a creative bunch and not to give to much away, we have some fantastic new events, stories and launches all due over the next few issues. Congratulations to all the Tresor Paris competition winners who were lucky enough to win a Tresor Paris bracelet. A big thank you to all the team. is back!!! 2011 has been a great year for Richard Blackwood and it’s not going to stop. Richard will tell you himself and has been quoted by saying “this time last year, I was not working. Now I’m in Shrek, doing projects with Tresor Paris…God is good” As he makes big strides back into the limelight landing the role as donkey in the hit West End musical Shrek cast along side ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge Amanda Holden. The musical is accompanied by the 70-piece BBC Concert Orchestra, conducted by Richard Balcombe and is due to be in theatres until mid 2012! Trying to replicate the original ‘donkey’ Eddie Murphy is tough competition, but Richard said he wants to become the British answer to Eddie Murphy and will give everything he’s got to fulfil the role. Reviews of the show are booming with positivity with statements such as: ‘Big hit. Brilliant show. Tremendous’ - Daily Telegraph; ‘A big thumbs up for Shrek’ Daily Mail; ‘Shrektacular. A great show for all the family’ - Sunday Telegraph. Before landing the donkey role, Richard made his debut on the west end stage in ‘Cat on a Hot Tin Roof ’ at the Novello Theatre alongside Hollywood legend James Earl Jones and The Cosby shows Phylicia Rashad. It’s where stand up comedian Richard cut his teeth as he explains how he absolutely loved it. Richard is best known as a comedian, having appeared in his own show on Channel 4, ‘The Richard Blackwood’ Show at the young age of 24 as well as the hit BBC comedy show ‘The Real McCoy’ He recently appeared on ITV’s ‘Loose Women’ to promote the musical and to talk about life in general. Kate Thornton, and the rest of the cast looked ecstatic as Richard gave a kiss to each one of them as he appeared on stage. Continuing with the talk about his new found love for performing in the West End, he discusses how it is a pleasure to work with Amanda Holden and being the only one in the musical who hasn’t acted and sung in musicals
before, explaining that it’s a great challenge. Richard also says he is trying to be the role model for the younger generation and telling them “never believe your own hype and truly learn the business side of show business” saying that he feels the youth of today do not have anyone to show them the way and explain the long term effects of fame. He also states that he wouldn’t be the person and performer he is today if he didn’t have his downfall a few years ago. Richard says the turning point for him was the beginning of the year, he cheekily jokes that he ‘never got Loose Women last year’, which undoubtedly made everyone in the studio laugh hysterically. He auditioned for the role as Donkey last year but didn’t think he would get it; he thought “let me give it a go, I truly want this”. Moving on to brighter topics, he talks about his recent success with Shrek, and how his life is getting back on track by cheekily flashing his arm around, while wearing the Grandchamp bracelet. Richard is known to like the finer things in life and therefore is willing to push the fashion boundaries that most men are not confident enough to push His next television appearance was on Channel 5’s morning show, ‘The Wright Stuff ’ with Matthew Wright and a guest panellist n his first opportunity, ichard was keen to say a big thank you to Tresor Paris for supplying him with his fantastic jewellery as he announced on the show whilst flashing the racelets for the cameras to capture in doing so making the presenter, the panel and audience laugh at his cheekiness for promoting the brand on live TV. After Matthew complimented him on looking good, he decided to ask the camera crew for a full ody shot where he fle ed his muscles, pushed out his chest and showed off his ‘Grandchamp’ bracelet to camera. Richard had the audience laughing again when he made a public appeal that if you want to lose weight, don’t bother to
buy all the weight loss DVD’s... but to ‘get a Donkey costume’, showing the hard work he has to put into each and every performance as Donkey. Richard recently visited the showroom in Hatton Garden where he chose more jewellery to add to his wonderful Tresor Paris collection, it was also a chance to talk about other opportunities and projects that both Tresor Paris and Richard can collaborate on.

We are ‘Shore’ delighted!
IT was a very pleasant surprise when most of the cast from the hit MTV series Geordie Shore made a surprise visit to the Tresor Paris showroom in Hatton Garden. Holly, Gary, Charlotte, Greg, Vicky and Sophie were all excited to be in London, especially at their favourite jewellers. Upon arrival, the girls headed straight for the bracelet counter, where they were treated to an exclusive look and got their hands on the brand new collection. While in the showroom - there was just enough time to get a quick photo of the cast. Holly decided to wear the matching pink Cholet bracelet and Milly necklace, while Charlotte opted for the La Rue necklace and Biaritz and Cahors bracelets. Sophie could not resist the rosary necklace with magnetite cross and Cholet and Evron bracelets and the lovely Vicky made a bee-line for the Laval bracelet and Rugles necklace, while the boys Greg and Gary sported the Versaille, St Paul and Strasbourg bracelets respectively. After a quick thank you it was back to Kings Cross for the long journey back up to Newcastle.

TP: If you could describe Boudi in 3 words, what would it be? Boudi: I would say it is: Fashionable, new and different. TP: How did the company start? Boudi: It started from my family’s business. Initially a menswear store, the style of what was sold back then was more formal and classic. A lot of ladies would come in and compliment what we had to offer and ask why we didn’t sell womenswear... It was then that we came across new interesting brands and decided to introduce womenswear. TP: What does your daily job as the owner require? Boudi: I ensure that everything is in order, staff are in check . All the necessary jobs needed for the day-day running of business. I’m also the buyer for the stores.

he Kings Road is renowned for fashion and style and the hit E4 show ‘Made in Chelsea’ shows exactly that. Amongst all the drama going on in each of the cast members lives, they never cease to look fabulous in the best fashions. The highly talked about cast are always indulging in the latest products and styles to match their publicly aired lifestyles amongst the world of royals, aristocrats and playboys. Known to splash their cash, most of the cast members were frequently spotted during the whole series wearing Tresor Paris jewels. With ratings of over 500,000 for the first episode the viewing figures subsequently increased with everybody wanting to know the ins and outs of the SW6 crowd. Channel 4’s tweets hit 1.8m from the beginning of the series, trending worldwide and boosting the success of their online catch-up service. Ollie Locke was one of the popular cast members with rumours of his sexuality heavily talked about in every episode. After breaking up with fellow cast member Gabriella Ellis, feeling that he may not be straight, Ollie decided to try going on a date with a man he met in the park. The relationship did not last and soon after the first series finished, ig news hit the tabloids that he had started dating Topshop heiress Chloe Green. Many viewers of the show were shocked,
believing it to be a rumour that he was gay. Chloe and Ollie continue to show off their matching ‘his and hers’ Nice bracelets, most recently spotted working the red carpet together as a couple at the Harry Potter premiere in London’s Leicester Square. I don’t know exactly who it’s going to be yet, but they’re talking to a few people”. Everyone wants to know; will Caggie and Spencer reunite? Will Francis and Agne take it a step further? Will Hugo and Millie last? Has Funda left the show for good? How serious are Ollie and Chloe? All will be revealed soon.

Tresor Paris to launch Les Couleurs Collection at IJL TRESOR PARIS has created a colourful collection to commemerate the greatest show on earth, taking place in ondon for the first time in 50 years. The collection inspired by the London games introduces fresh new crystal coloured bracelets representing each ring from the iconic friendship flag The statement piece of the new collection is aptly named Tresor which is made of 9 handpicked bright orange crystals with 2 magnetite stones with a matching orange tibetan cord. As always all products are named after French cities and towns. So this year we see Perpignan, Choisy, Grasse and Congnac all added to the collection. As well as the Olympic collection, Tresor Paris will also be launching a new ‘never
seen before’ ceramic range, as well as a Bohemian inspired range The ceramic range provides an all white collection of bracelets using white crystals, distressed white marble, white ceramic balls. Using sterling silver rather than its usual grey-toned Magnetite the collection is sure to be a must for the wedding season. Dare Art Alade W hat an honor it was to have Nigerian R&B singer. Darey Art Alade who made an unannounced appearance at Tresor Paris Hatton Garden HQ. Dare Art Alade - popularly known as Darey - is a Nigerian multi-platinum selling and award-winning musician and singersongwriter. He is the son of the renowned Nigerian entertainer, Art Alade. Darey, though very successful in Nigeria, has his eyes on the international market and has plans to re-release his music in conjunction with a major international record label. Dare (pronounced Da-Ray) Art Alade was born to legendary Nigerian Jazz pioneer Art Alade and Olapeju Alade. Dare, as a child, used to rummage through his father’s extensive Jazz collection and tag along with him to his concerts. These early e periences ga e him his first taste of ‘showbiz’. Dare honed his skills at an early age, singing with several choirs, including the National Troupe of Nigeria Choir and then the Cathedral Choir. From the age 15, he began performing extensively in clubs around Lagos, Ibadan and other cities in Nigeria. It was during one of those late night sessions he met an executive at Cool FM, a major Radio station, who appreciated his voice, and his ability to interact with his audience. The determined teenager began shuttling between Cool FM and the University of Lagos where he was studying for a degree in Music, and sang with the acapella group The Chordwebs. [1] During his time at Cool FM, he had the opportunity to acquire the basic knowledge of radio production and marketing. Darey was busy working at a photo-shoot near by in Farringdon, when he
could not resist popping into his favorite London jewellers. On entering the showroom Darey, who is not usually lost for words was speechless at being in his jewellry paradise, and given the opportunity to view the Tresor Paris spring/summer 2011 collection. As a man of impeccable style and taste, Darey knew exactly what he wanted and just like being on stage performing in front of 1000’s of adoring fans, Darey hit the perfect note in opting for the Chemilli bracelet, Darey could also not resist the Tresor Paris Monaco bracelet which is a must for any R&B star. And if that was not enough, Darey had not finished until he had this seasons must ha e Tresor Paris Rosary Beads chain. He performed a medley of 50 songs with his 15-piece band, oul band to a room filled with several African Presidents and past world leaders. Darey is said to have recorded his third studio album “Double Dare”, which will be released internationally with focus on the UK sometime in 2011. The lead singles from this album are The Way You Are and Don’t Let Me Know, which were both released on October 20, 2010. He will also be releasing another international album self titled “Darey”, which will have production and collaborations from various international producers and artists.
