Holiday Looks Inspire

Don’t stress! Girl….

I got you!

Side Note:

I like to keep corporate or business holidayparty looks fairly modest, you can still be sexy AND sophisticated without showing too much skin. Plus nobody has time to deal with Jim from accounting’s creepy stares.

I love the classic style of this dress! With it’s beautiful draping and a bit of shimmer in the fabric, it’s perfect for a corporate holiday party!

Tressie’s Tip: Dress it up or down with sequins accessories and a fur for a more formal party and ankle booties and a leather jacket for a more casual vibe

Side Note:

Elvis did sing Blue Christmas after all didn’t he? This look is perfect to rock out to that holiday song at your party!

Sick of the typical Holiday colors? Party looks need not be green & red! I love this blue velvet & silver sequins look!

Tressie’s Tip: If the blue lips are a bit much for you, try a shimmery lipgloss with silver in it! Or a dark blue smokey eye with a silver inner eye highlight!

Side Note:

Ladies Night Out is THE perfect time to push yourself out of your comfort zone and your friends will be there to (hopefully) give you that reassurance you need! If not, girl…..you need new friends.

The holiday season is the perfect time to have a Girl’s Night Out! Karaoke night, drinks and dancing, movie night, whatever it is, have fun with your look!

Tressie’s Tip: The boots can be switched out for black patent leather ones if the pop of red is not your thing!

I’m officially obsessed with this jumpsuit! Who says you have to wear a dress to a formal party? Rock that sequins jumpsuit girl!

Tressie’s Tip: Same look could be done in green, red and gold if you want more of a traditional festive vibe!

Side Note:
Seeing I never have actual been to a bookclub meeting… I don’t know if they even have Christmas parties. But if they did, this is what I would wear. Karen won’t like it and she’s going to talk chic about you….ignore.

I don’t actually know ANYONE that belongs to a book club. But if you are out there. Can we be friends? Because I totally want to be in a bookclub. Thanks

Tressie’s Tip: I love mixing vibes in my styling. A classic fabric and style like this pencil skirt with a posh sophisticated black sweater + red metallic Moto jacket and plaid booties = bookclub badass.

Side Note:

I like to sometimes pretend like I have everything in my life together and wear all white to parties with other moms that probably do have their lives together, but then I spill the bottle of red wine I grabbed from home and shoved in my too small of purse, all over my stupid white look of lies. All why Janice smirks as she mouths “ I told you so” to Heather.

Freaking Janice.

The PTA party. I mean…… I honestly didn’t know that was a thing. Missed that invite.

(insert dramatic eye roll)

Side Note:

I’m really not that naughty…i’m pretty nice! But the rebel side to me just loves a naughty look and bc there are soooo manyjolly holly cheer barbies at every party, it’s kinda fun to pretend to be the grinch ;-) Plus between the shirt and the green lips…less stranger small talk = winning.

I love to express myself and how I’m feeling through what I’m wearing. Don’t be afraid to take some risks and get a little rebellious

with some of your looks. This is a greatparty to do this at because you didn’t really want to come anyway!

Side Note:

Yes, Karen from Book club is going to give you the “what are you wearing look” Freaking Karen…. Too much time on her hands. Ignore her.

I’m in love with this texture rich look! The Burgundy and mauve pink color palette gives a nice break to traditional holiday looks but still feels festive!

Tressie’s Tip: Love the 70’s glam boho nomad vibe of this look, but if the headband/wrap is too much, skip it! Or add a slouchy knit hat instead!

Side Note: You don’t work with thesepeople….just your “other half” does ;-) So you can take a little more risks in this look.

Glam Time!! Bring Sexy Back….

(oh it’s already been brought)

Desk to Dinner Party!!

Tressie’s Tip: Go from your desk to dinner by switching out your flats or pumps for bold stilettos and add an embroidered evening wrap.

Don’t let “not having anything to wear” hold you back from accepting a party invite!

Tressie’s Tip: Everyone has their favorite trusted LBD {Little Black Dress} hanging in the closet, and yes, you really can restyle it 100 different ways! Add some festive accessories and a new holiday look is done!
