Dear Mr Hedland, This correspondence is to advise you of the outcome of your recent Online Wonderlic Assessment (OWA) for your application as a recruit for the Queensland Police Service (QPS). Unfortunately, you have not been shortlisted for further consideration as a police recruit. This means that your application will not be progressed further in the general recruitment process. The application process is highly competitive and this determination has been made in accordance with current operational recruitment requirements. As stated in and agreed to by you in your application:  Feedback will not be given for any application assessment,  Reviews of application assessments will not be conducted for any reason. Currently, we receive in excess of 12,000 applications per year. In the next 12 months, it is projected that we will appoint 250 recruits. This means that less than 3% of applicants will receive an offer of appointment as a recruit.
Your assessment results will remain current for 12 months. This means that you are not eligible to retake the Online Wonderlic Assessment until after 5 June 2018. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: DO NOT attempt to retake the Online Wonderlic Assessment before the date stated above. If it is found that you have retaken the Online Wonderlic Assessment before this time, you will not be shortlisted and you may be subject to an exclusion period greater than 12 months.
We wish you all the best in your future endeavours. Thank you for your interest in a career with the Queensland Police Service. Regards Queensland Police Recruiting
