Buntzen Lake Traffic Advisory

BC Hydro is undertaking road work at Buntzen Lake Recreation Area this September to improve the main access road and boat launch access road. Work is currently planned to take place on weekdays for up to eight weeks.

Vehicle access will be reduced to one lane, alternating traffic. Work requiring a full road closure will be limited to weekday mornings between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.

Visitors will still be able to safely access Buntzen Lake by foot through several trails in the area but some trails will be impacted by construction work. Please follow onsite signage and the direction of crew on site. We also ask visitors to plan ahead and expect delays when entering and existing the park.
