Parents may be in the room to assist young children, but food and party activities are for the party participants only. Can parties be for multiple children at one time? We limit parties to one child (or two children in the same family). How long are the parties? Most parties are 2 hours in length, plus 30 minutes of set-up prior to the start time to prepare for your guests and 15 minutes for cleanup. Can we stay longer than the allotted time? Time extensions and multiple party bookings will not be accepted. What should I bring to the party? Making Sense of Resistance and Defiance Adults are frequently perplexed by children who appear to do the opposite of what is asked or expected of them. This instinctive reaction known as counterwill can take many forms: Opposition, negativism, laziness, noncompliance, disrespect, lack of motivation, belligerence and even resistance to learning. We need to deepen our connection with our children if we want them to follow our lead. 65473 Monday, Apr.24 Recreation Complex
