While Aultrust takes part in everything from corporate sponsorships to volunteering, the organization is most involved in spearheading innovation and finding inventive ways to tackle one of the most pressing issues facing communities today — housing affordability. Aultrust does this by striving to create and provide affordable housing for all tiers of the community, developing based on the needs of the community that they serve. In addition, Aultrust has partnered with and supported other local associations such as the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce, POMO Art Association, and the Rowing Club of Port Moody. Taking a grassroots approach to building community relations through active and direct engagement with community members, Aultrust’s approach is to demonstrate genuine care about the future of our community by taking a role in — not just understanding short, medium, and long-term community needs — but helping to shape policies that would ensure that those objects are met.
