Let’s rewind and ‘Fall back’ with the classics. Vintage denim brands like Levi’s, Guess, Wrangler, and Calvin Klein are just a few timeless ones to chose from. For those who stick to the basics; plain styles, and basic washes are the safest bet. Keep in mind the silhouettes too. High-waist denim, flare leg, and skinny styles are still heavy hitters in fashion as of late. These styles aren’t going anywhere. They’re versatile and flattering on many body types.

Don’t just stick to one style.

Maybe more moxie is the sensibility of the season. Denim styles that have texture or dazzling details seem to work in every day life, and on the red carpet. Collections for brands like Diesel, Frame, Carhartt, and Alice + Olivia, are high end and eclectic. They can satisfy the need for creative lines, intricate closures, and asymmetrical details. The silhouettes are trendy too. These brands love to create style that’s ‘out of the box’. Modern is really all in the wearer. The most up to date trends in denim are a cheat from the past. Most recently; Abercrombie & Fitch, Zara, Gap, and Everlane are going back in the fashion archives, and revamping the 90’s silhouette. The most trendy denim right now have straight legs, minimal ripped details, and loose silhouettes. The ‘throw back’ styles of that area are catching the heat for Fall.
