TRIANGLE PATIOS You’ll want to dine al fresco with any ones of these fabulous patios

Location: Downtown Raleigh, 201 W Martin St.

This is arguably the prettiest outdoor patio in all of Downtown Raleigh. I’m in awe of the magical feel of the rows of rows of string lights every. single. time.

Besides having a beautiful outdoor ambiance, Whiskey Kitchen has the most delicious selection of food and cocktails. Not to mention an incredible whiskey selection of course. This iconic Raleigh restaurant has a very cool, hip feel. Hanging out on the patio makes you feel like a true local no matter how long you’ve been here!

MUST-HAVES: The Fried Chicken Sandwich is a must. Leave room for dessert—you don’t want to miss the famous Shoo Fly Pie!”

WYE HILL KITCHEN & BREWING

Location: Downtown Raleigh. 201 S Boylan Ave.

If you’re looking for outdoor dining with incredible Raleigh skyline views and delicious eats, look no further than Wye Hill Kitchen & Brewing! I am so happy this spot came to be a few years back. The owners are absolutely wonderful and I love the passion they have for this local spot. This is one of my favorite places to bring friends visiting the Triangle. Who doesn’t love a restaurant with views am I right? I love Wye Hill’s fun, casual feel. Cozy vibes all year long. One try and you’ll be coming back all Summer!

MUST-HAVES: Start with the deviled eggs for sure. Next, order the burger. Then wash it all down with one of their delicious brews. Repeat.

NAMU

Location: Durham. 5420 Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd.

Okay, I slept on this incredible spot for far too long!!! I am so glad I finally learned about it.

Where Korean Heritage, Food Truck Ingenuity, and the Local Community meet. Delicious Fare, Cold Brews, and Deep Roots. One of my favorites things about Namu is how it is a great choice no matter time of day. They have a wonderful menu of coffee drinks from Cold Brew to Traditional Macchiatos to get your day started and a mouth-watering menu to enjoy in the garden. Yes, you read that right, GARDEN.

Namu’s patio is a beautiful oasis. So beautiful that they even host weddings! Enjoy fresh air and beautiful greenery as you sip a cappucino or devour Bibimbap.

MUST-HAVES: For my perfect lunch at Namu, I’d order an iced latte, Kimchi Bul-fries, and Bo’s Special!

EASTCUT SANDWICH BAR

Location: Durham. 3211 Old Chapel Hill Rd.

This neighborhood hangout is one of my favorite sandwich spots in the Triangle. I am always on the hunt for a great Chicken Parmesan Sandwich and this one is oh so good. Also, I have this thing with curly fries (I personally think they shouldn’t be so hard to come by, ugh!) so it is very exciting that they’re serving them up here at Eastcut Sandwich Bar.

Located close to Downtown Durham, this is a great casual spot to hang with family and friends before a day exploring the city! They have a large area of covered outdoor seating with a section that has water, utensils, napkins, etc. to prevent having to go in and out a million times to get everything you need. This is a wonderful option if you want something with a lowkey feel and lots of outdoor space! They’re also gluten-free friendly. We love to see it!

MUST-HAVES: I adore their Chicken Parmesan Sandwich and curly fries. 10/10 recommend grabbing whatever frozen cocktail concoction they have as well!

PECK & PLUME

Location: Downtown Cary. 301 S Academy St.

Peck and Plume is where those of a feather come to roost. Peck & Plume, located within Mayton Inn in Downtown Cary, is where all my interior design dreams come true. I know we’re talking outdoor patios here, but I have to brag on their gorgeous interior. Definitely do a deep dive on their website to see what I’m talking about.

Here you’ll find a delectable menu delivering different selections throughout the day. Their focus is new American classics, but drawing inspiration from near and far. From morning through evening, their breezy terrace awaits.
