1, 2, JUST FOR YOU! DIAMOND Most kites are shaped like a diamond. Use a crayon, marker, or a pencil and design what your kite should look like.
3, 4, ASK FOR MORE!
Children learn through play. So before you toss out the next shoe box, cereal box, or the paper towel roll, let your child have a chance to imagine and explore. Maybe they want to wear it as a hat or turn it into a space shuttle. Perhaps it makes a great vehicle for their favorite stuffed animal. Paper rolls might become a looking glass or an animal horn. Ask questions, sit down next to them, and enjoy the fun.
SHAPE OF THE WEEK: DIAMOND
I’m a Diamond (sung to “Clementine”) I’m a diamond, I’m a diamond. I’m as pretty as can be. I have four sides and four corners, And some kites look just like me. You can turn me onto one side, And I may not look the same. But I always am a diamond. Diamond always is my name. August 25-31, 2021

“That man is trying to attack that big bird!” Argyle said. “We have to help it!”
“What if it’s 'The Attack?'” asked Chex. “Then we save a life and solve the mystery!” Smelly Sock said.
