RACHEL GANTZ

"My freshman year started off strong with winning the CAA championship. That moment of rushing the field at the end of that game is something I will never forget. But most importantly, I will never forget the friendships, relationships, and memories made with everybody on this team. Huge thank you to all my coaches, teammates, family members, friends, and supporters from freshman to senior year who had a huge part in making my time here at William & Mary so special.

"Tribe Field Hockey taught me so much about not only field hockey but also being a better person. There is so much value in being surrounded by so many great people; I was challenged everyday to be better and to do better. I will always have the lasting memories of the big wins—winning CAA’ s and beating Louisville, but also the even better memories of sharing that with my friends. I value my time spent as a member of Tribe Field Hockey, and I want to thank everyone that was around to support us on our journey: Tess, Fitts, Mark, Ayla, Martu, and anyone else that was involved in athletics during my time at William & Mary. Go Tribe!"

’t imagine playing for any program other than Tribe Field Hockey. I had the best four years with all the people involved with this team. From winning a CAA championship to practicing with my friends everyday, I have the most amazing memories with my coaches and teammates. Thank you to Tess, Fitts, Ayla, Terry, Keith, and all of my teammates for making my experience playing here so special.
