Program Highlights

• Trinity will meet 100% of the demonstrated financial need for all SAISD students who are admitted.

• Trinity will minimize loan indebtedness by limiting student borrowing to the annual federal direct loan.

• Students will receive an affordable, top-tier education at Trinity while living near their family.

• Top students from SAISD are invited to attend visit programs at Trinity, where students and their guests learn about the admissions process, college affordability, the Trinity student experience, and the TCI partnership.

The

Need for Trinity Community Investment (TCI)

We know that the San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD) is full of incredibly bright and hardworking students. We also know that costs are often the most critical factor when students are selecting a college. The University and SAISD created the Trinity Community Investment (TCI) to help make a Trinity education financially accessible to all SAISD students and ensure SAISD students are encouraged to apply.

Our Commitment: To and Through

At Trinity, we are committed to the practice of intentional inclusion, and we know that access is measured not only financially but also academically, socially, and emotionally. As students may come from marginalized backgrounds or be the first in their family to pursue higher education, we want them to know that we have the following resources and initiatives in place to support them throughout their time at Trinity and beyond:

• Dedicated campus partners in Admissions, Academic Advising, Career Services & Experiential Learning, Faculty, Student Financial Services, Student Success, and Diversity & Inclusion

• Opportunity to participate in summer programs to support first-generation students in their transition to Trinity

• Social events and touchpoints with our growing community of SAISD students on campus

Students can submit their free application to Trinity University by November 1 or February 1.
