BRINGING HOUSEHOLD NAMES TO GAINSBOROUGH

PICTUREHOUSE & THEATRE

WELCOME TO

SPRING 2019

We are delighted to present our new 2019 spring season. It’s a big brochure full of big names and big shows and the party’s only just started. The season starts with an already sold out show with Roy “Chubby” Brown bringing his naughty as ever comedy antics to Gainsborough. This perfectly kicks off our brand new season of comedy with a new monthly comedy club featuring Britain’s got Talent’s Mandy Muden, Daliso Chaponda and Jonny Awsum.(P17)

Our music programme includes the BRIT award-winning internationally acclaimed BLAKE, and later in the year the 20th Anniversary tour of acclaimed musical theatre concert Beyond the Barricade, topped off with the perfect sprinkle of sparkle from Britain’s Got Talent’s semifinalist drag queen, La Voix. And if any of that didn’t tickle your taste buds enough, we also welcome The Shy Manifesto on its national tour featuring the star of Harry Potter and The Cursed Child, Theo Ancient.

Fresh from their run at London’s West End Leicester Square Theatre we have Murder, She Didn’t Write and the broadcast of the West End hit musical, Everybody’s Talking about Jamie.

So whilst Trinity is beginning to bring household names to Gainsborough, there hasn’t been a better time to join one of our new memberships. These will help you save money and take your theatre/filmgoing experience to the next level.

We sincerely hope you enjoy all of what the new season has to offer and we can’t wait to welcome you once again to Trinity Arts Centre.

K E ITH JAMES: TH E MU SIC OF LE ONAR D COH EN

Enigmatic and sub textural, songwriter Leonard Cohen was an unflinching character, with an exact sense of prose, a wry humour and courage to wrestle with the unspoken.

With a reputation of performing in this exact way and with an undying love of the ‘pure song’ Keith James gives you a concert of Cohen’s amazing material in an intimate and sensitive style. Friday 21 June 8pm Tickets: £16
