Mark Your Calendars for Trinity School’s 2022 Summer Camp! Trinity School Summer Camp offers a variety of academic, specialty, and sports camps for children ages 4 to 13. From wizards to coding, Legos to science camp, choose your child’s summer adventure from our camps that will run Monday–Friday from June 6–July 1, with options ranging from 7:30 AM to 4 PM, and limited offerings available from August 1–5. We know that you will find something your child will love! Session 1: June 6–10 Session 2: June 13–17 Session 3: June 20–24 Session 4: June 27–July 1 Session 5: August 1–5 (limited offerings) Trinity School Summer Camp is open to the public. Join us in Before-Camp Care, Activities in the Afternoon, and/or AfterCamp Care to extend your summer fun to a full day! Before-Camp Care All Grades | Sessions 1–4 Monday–Friday | 7:30–9 AM | $50 Campers will enjoy games and activities before the camp day starts. Campers can be dropped off anytime between 7:30 and 9 AM. Activities in the Afternoon All Grades | Sessions 1–5 Monday–Friday | 12–2 PM | $100, includes lunch Campers should be ready for an afternoon of fun! Lunch, playground time, and an activity await them every day. This camp is for campers who are participating in a Special Interest Camp and want to stay until 2 PM. After-Camp Care All Grades | Sessions 1–4 Monday–Friday | 2–4 PM | $75 Campers can extend their camp day in After-Camp Care from 2–4 PM. They will enjoy a fun-filled afternoon with playground time, snack, and various activities. After-Camp Care is for campers who are participating in a Trinity School Summer Camp and want to stay until 4 PM.

Session 1 | June 6–10 Alliance Theatre: Creative Drama Camp – NEW OFFERING! Rising Kindergarten–Second Grade Monday–Friday | 9 AM–12 PM | $325 Campers will experience the wonder of their imagination by learning the three essential tools of the actor’s trade. They will reimagine scenes from their favorite stories; invent their own characters; and develop storytelling, pantomime, and movement skills. Teachers from the Alliance Theatre will take campers on this adventure through the dramatic arts. Pending Trinity’s health and safety protocols, parents and friends will be invited to a demonstration on the last day of camp so that they can enjoy the talents of the children. Camp Powe“HER”ful – NEW OFFERING! Rising Second–Fifth Grade Monday–Friday | 9 AM–12 PM | $325 Self-esteem and self-confidence are such important traits for young girls. Camp Pow“HER”ful is focused on empowering girls to be the best they can be and to reach their full potential. Campers will join Trinity Teacher Jennifer Jones to explore the power of positive thinking and create vision boards, affirmation statements, collages, and other activities to boost self-esteem and self-confidence. Each camper will create a Camp Pow“HER”ful notebook to use for future reference. This camp will help each girl thrive and shine! Discover the Woods with Ms. Pam and Ms. Brooke: Trail Explorations Rising Pre-K–Second Grade Monday–Friday | 9 AM–12 PM | $330 Do you know how many trails are in Discovery Woods? We plan to find out by hiking them all! Campers will receive a map, compass, and water bottle and hit the trails with a snack, in case we find a campfire ring. Our explorers will go on and off the trails to find caves, nests, and hidden holes where little creatures may live. Campers will become keen observers of nature.

Fine Cooking, Art, and Music Camp Rising Kindergarten–Fourth Grade Monday–Friday | 9 AM–12 PM | $355 Campers will learn to prepare (and get to eat!) breakfast, lunch, and dinner foods, including breads, casseroles, and desserts with Ms. Fine. They will learn basic cooking techniques, how to measure and follow a recipe, and how to use cooking equipment. They will also learn and practice basic etiquette skills, design a chef’s apron and hat, and enjoy cooking-related literature. In addition to all the cooking fun, campers will enjoy craft sessions with Ms. Nina and music sessions with Ms. Grubbe throughout the week. Legos with Ms. Samantha: Building Frenzy! Rising Kindergarten–Second Grade Monday–Friday | 9 AM–12 PM | $355 Calling all LEGO masters! If your child loves to build, have them join Ms. Samantha to build a multitude of LEGO creations, including castles, spaceships, city buildings, Friends, superheroes, and ninjas. Campers will also build from their imaginations using hundreds of bricks and specialized pieces. There will be fun and creative challenges every day designed to test your child’s ingenuity and imagination. Live Like a Disney Princess with Ms. Kimberly Rising Pre-K–First Grade Monday–Friday | 9 AM–12 PM | $360 Campers will join Ms. Kimberly for an exciting week of creating their own costumes and accessories based on popular Disney princesses. Then they will LOVE working with Trinity’s Upper Elementary Math Specialist, Mrs. Coote, on a variety of math puzzles and games! Campers will employ Bee Genius, Genius Square, Tangrams, Pentominoes, and many more puzzles on their quest to solve challenges. Campers will also create math games and puzzles of their own. Participants will have fun learning and strengthening mathematical concepts while working individually and in a group. Minecraft Mania! – NEW OFFERING! Rising First–Fifth Grade Monday–Friday | 9 AM–12 PM | $325 Come unleash your creativity in Minecraft Mania with Ms. Karen, Trinity’s Instructional Technology Specialist. Minecraft Mania is an educational game-based learning platform that builds STEM skills and engages students in collaboration, problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. Minecraft Mania will meet campers where they are and inspire deep and intentional learning. Campers will be engaged and focused on planning, designing, implementing, and testing. Super Scientists: Fizz, Pop, Bang…Kid Chemistry! Rising Pre-K–First Grade Monday–Friday | 9 AM–12 PM | $345 Put on your safety goggles and prepare to get messy! Trinity EED Science Teacher Ms. T and Trinity Pre-K Teacher April Patton are teaming up for this week of cool-kid chemistry in the science lab. Campers will create potions that bubble and fizz; sink their fingers into oozing, color-changing slime; and make predictions as they mix mystery substances and try to make them explode! Our Super Scientists will experiment, explore, and discover...that science is a blast! Trinity Sports Camps Rising Second–Sixth Grade Monday–Friday | 9 AM–2 PM | $365, includes lunch Trinity Teacher Matt Scott and his staff have created a safe and challenging environment for both boys and girls. Campers are divided into ageappropriate groups to play hard, display sportsmanship, and have fun! The day will be filled with your kids’ favorite sports activities: soccer, kickball, tag and capture-games, basketball, flag football, hockey, lacrosse, ultimate Frisbee, cooperative challenges, and more. Session 2 | June 13–17 Discover the Woods with Ms. Pam and Ms. Brooke: The Enchanted World of Fairies Rising Pre-K–Second Grade Monday–Friday | 9 AM–12 PM | $330 Water nymphs, fairies, and gnomes are legendary in any woods and especially in Trinity’s own Discovery Woods, where there have been multiple sightings in summers past. Campers will delve into the magical world of the woods. They will look under leaves, feel the soft moss, create their own little woodlands house, and see if they can spot a fairy, nymph, or gnome! Instrumental Ensemble Camp – NEW OFFERING! Rising Fourth–Seventh Grade Monday–Friday | 9 AM–12 PM | $325 Campers will deepen their instrumental technique and music literacy by using xylophones, tone chimes, recorders, and various unpitched percussion to perform high level music. The class will conclude with a fun mini performance led by Trinity Music Teacher Ms. Grubbe.

The Kindness Camp – NEW OFFERING! Rising Second–Fifth Grade Monday–Friday | 9 AM–12 PM | $325 We are on a mission to spread kindness! Join Trinity Teacher Jennifer Jones for a camp dedicated to the value of kindness. Campers will work together towards a common goal of creating a positive environment. They will work on various projects to spread kindness and lift others up while being surrounded by peer support and positivity. They will be sorted into houses, receive their uniforms, join the dueling club, and work toward the Hogwarts’ House Cup. If your child is a Harry Potter fanatic and loves making crafts and playing games, this magical summer camp is for them. Each day, we will explore some of the same subjects offered at Hogwarts, like Potions, Care of Magical Creatures, and Herbology. Our wizards in training will learn wand making at Ollivanders and broom making at the Broom Shop. Daily fun will include Quidditch games and House competitions. Treats from house elves will be provided. Every child, even those new to the Harry Potter series, will love all the hands-on creations they will make at this exciting camp led by Trinity Teachers Nina Chamberlain, Leah Lenhardt, and Samantha Osby. Campers will excavate fossils like a paleontologist, investigate dinosaur eggs, and make a dinosaur tooth. Our Super Scientists will study the flight of the Pteranodon, measure the stride of the T-Rex, and build a working volcano. This week is sure to be a roaring good time! Then Vet Camp is the place to be this summer! Campers will join Trinity Science Teacher Mrs. T. to become junior veterinarians! They will learn what vets do, where they work, and how they help animals. Using stethoscopes, microscopes, and other tools, campers will dissect an owl pellet, practice their suturing skills, examine x-rays, and learn from animal-lovers in our Atlanta community. Junior Vets will also adopt their own dog or cat, design carriers and collars, and learn how to conduct physical exams and splint sprained bones. Vet Camp will include playground time, arts and crafts, and games. It will be a paws-itively great week! Yoga and Mindful Art Camp Rising Pre-K–First Grade Monday–Friday | 9 AM–12 PM | $325 Ready for a FUN yoga camp that will have kids practicing yoga at home? Campers will learn basic and challenging yoga poses, music, art, games, breathing exercises, and relaxation activities. They will make Mala beads, lavender eye pillows, and much more! Active and fun, the camp will help campers manage stress and develop strength, flexibility, and concentration. 20
Session 5 | August 1–5 Breaking Barriers Fundamentals Baseball Camp Rising Pre-K–Second Grade Monday–Friday | 9 AM–12 PM | $330 Your child will gain a solid foundation of baseball skills during a camp led by former Chicago Cubs outfielder C.J. Stewart and student-athletes from public high schools around Atlanta who participate in Stewart’s L.E.A.D. Ambassadors program. It will be non-stop baseball fun with an emphasis on teamwork, attitude, and healthy competition. Campers will be taught the fundamentals of the game while using competition and fun-filled activities to keep them engaged and excited. All skill levels are welcome. Breaking Barriers Leadership and Baseball Super Skills Camp Rising Second–Fifth Grade Monday–Friday | 9 AM–12 PM | $330 Your child will build and enhance their baseball skills and fundamentals on the field and develop character and leadership skills off the field with former Chicago Cubs outfielder C.J. Stewart and student-athletes from public high schools around Atlanta who participate in Stewart’s L.E.A.D. Ambassadors program. Campers will receive small group instruction by skill level to reinforce and build upon existing baseball-specific skills. The curriculum will focus on repetitions for hitting and fielding, instructional competitive games, and critical thinking skills training. For the more advanced players, the curriculum shifts to focus on proper pitching mechanics as many of the players transition to “kid-pitch” in their leagues. During the week, coaches will use baseball to teach leadership skills that will translate to on- and offthe-field experiences. Your child will leave camp empowered with skills and a stronger passion and love of the game. 21
Crafty Corner – Cricut 101 Rising Third–Sixth Grade Monday–Friday | 9 AM–12 PM | $355 Attention all crafters! Does your child love personalized T-shirts, water bottles, bags, and stationery? Would they like to learn how to create them on a Cricut machine? Now is their chance! Rising Early Learners will join Trinity Early Learner Teachers Ms. Gale and Ms. Robin for lots of learning and laughing. Middle Level SSAT Workshop with BBTS Rising Fifth–Seventh Grade Monday–Friday | 10 AM–12 PM | $555 Don’t let the SSAT be a portentous adversary to you and your child.
