Mark Your Calendars for Trinity School’s 2023 Summer Camp!

Trinity School Summer Camp offers a variety of academic, specialty, and sports camps for children ages 4 to 13. From wizards to painting, Legos to science, choose your child’s summer adventure from our camps that will run Monday–Friday from June 5–30*, with options ranging from 7:30 AM to 4 PM, and limited offerings available from July 31–August 4. We know that you will find something your child will love!

Session 1: June 5–9

Session 2: June 12–16

Session 3: June 20–23* (No camp Monday, four-day camp week)

Session 4: June 26–30

Session 5: July 31–August 4 (limited offerings)

Trinity School Summer Camp is open to the public. Registration will open on Thursday, January 26.

Before-Camp Care

All Grades | Sessions 1, 2, and 4

Monday–Friday | 7:30–9 AM | $50

Campers will enjoy games and activities before the camp day starts. Campers can be dropped off anytime between 7:30 and 9 AM.

Activities in the Afternoon

Campers should be ready for an afternoon of fun! Lunch, playground time, and an activity await them every day. This camp is for campers who are participating in a Special Interest Camp and want to stay until 2 PM.

After-Camp Care

Campers can extend their camp day in After-Camp Care from 2–4 PM. They will enjoy a fun-filled afternoon with playground time, snack, and various activities. After-Camp Care is for campers who are participating in a Trinity School Summer Camp and want to stay until 4 PM.

*Trinity School will be closed on June 19 in honor of Juneteenth; no camps will be offered on that day.

Camp Pow“HER”ful

Rising Second–Fifth Grade

Monday–Friday | 9 AM–12 PM | $325

Self-esteem and self-confidence are such important traits for young girls. Camp Pow“HER”ful is focused on empowering girls to be the best they can be and to reach their full potential. Campers will join Trinity Teacher Jennifer Jones to explore the power of positive thinking and create vision boards, affirmation statements, collages, and other activities to boost self-esteem and self-confidence. Each camper will create a Camp Pow“HER”ful notebook to use for future reference. This camp will help each girl thrive and shine!

Discover the Woods with Ms. Pam and Ms. Brooke: Trail Explorations

Rising Pre-K–Second Grade

Monday–Friday | 9 AM–12 PM | $330

Do you know how many trails are in Discovery Woods? We plan to find out by hiking them all! Campers will receive a compass, design their own walking stick, and hit the trails with a snack in case we find a campfire ring. Our explorers will go on and off the trails to find caves, nests, and hidden holes where little creatures may live. Campers will become keen observers of nature.

Escape to Summer Break – NEW OFFERING!

Rising Third–Seventh Grade

Kick off summer with the ultimate escape from school! Does your child love puzzles, problem-solving, improvising, and teaming up with friends to overcome extraordinary obstacles? Then this week is made for them! Mrs. Kerry Coote and Mr. Kevin Howard are creating the Ultimate Escape that will have campers exploring, experimenting, and scheming to work their way through rooms, clues, and challenges all over campus. This imaginative, high-energy camp will have your child not only thinking and playing but also experiencing Trinity like never before!

Flag Football – NEW OFFERING!

Rising Second–Sixth Grade

Is your child ready for some football?! Coach Brian Balocki and two varsity high school athletes will lead a fun and exciting flag football camp from 9 AM–12 PM. This flag football camp will provide campers an opportunity to learn a variety of skills and strategies to help them become more confident and competent football players. They will rotate through a variety of drill stations to practice fundamental skills of all positions. They will then test out their new skills in age-, size-, and ability-appropriate flag football games and activities.

G.A.M.E.S. – NEW OFFERING!

Every day is different at G.A.M.E.S. camp with Trinity Teacher Rebecca Stewart!

G is GAME Day and campers will make their own! A is Art Day! They will paint and craft. M is Make a Mess Day, enough said. E is EXPERIMENT Day when we hit the “lab” and the “kitchen.” S is SPORTS and SUNSHINE Day, so let’s get outside to explore and play!

Girls with Grit – NEW OFFERING!

Rising Pre-K–First Grade

Trinity Teachers Ms. Gale and Ms. Sophia will inspire and encourage this group of girls to think positively about their unique qualities and skills. Campers will enjoy all-new summer projects, games, and crafts designed to develop and deepen peer relationships while promoting self-love. Your daughter will uncover and discover a more courageous, confident, creative, and compassionate girl! Rising First Graders will enjoy unique leadership and mentor opportunities throughout the week with their co-campers.

Legos with Ms. Samantha: Building Frenzy! Rising Kindergarten–Second Grade

Monday–Friday | 9 AM–12 PM | $355

Calling all LEGO masters! If your child loves to build, have them join Ms. Samantha to build a multitude of LEGO creations, including castles, spaceships, city buildings, Friends, superheroes, and ninjas. Campers will also build from their imaginations using hundreds of bricks and specialized pieces. There will be fun and creative challenges every day designed to test your child’s ingenuity and imagination.

Live Like a Disney Princess with Ms. Kimberly Rising Pre-K–First Grade

Campers will join Ms. Kimberly for an exciting week of creating their own costumes and accessories based on popular Disney princesses. Your children will feel just like Disney princesses with all their new dress-up pieces! Campers are welcome to register for both sessions of Live Like a Disney Princess.

Magical Creatures Craft Club with Ms. Griffith Rising First–Fifth Grade

Is your child more of a unicorn or a dragon? What is their special mermaid power? They will hatch a dragon egg, explore the crystal forest, and create magical works of art with Trinity Media Specialist Ms. Griffith! Campers will explore their creative side and their magical mindset for a week of hands-on enchanted activities, mythical treats, and marvelous joy.

Minecraft Mania!

Rising Second–Fifth Grade

Monday–Friday | 9 AM–12 PM | $320

Your child will unleash their creativity in Minecraft Mania with Ms. Val, Trinity’s Instructional Technology Specialist. Minecraft Mania is an educational game-based learning platform that builds STEM skills and engages students in collaboration, problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. Minecraft Mania will meet campers where they are and inspire deep and intentional learning. Campers will be engaged and focused on planning, designing, implementing, and testing. They will create pixel art and Minecraft architectures, designing in their own unique worlds and collaborating in the same worlds with peers. There will be different, new, and exciting challenges for Session 1 and 2 – repeat campers welcome!

Painting Masterpieces – NEW OFFERING!

Rising Fourth–Sixth Grade

Campers will recreate famous paintings on canvas using acrylic paints and paint pens. Trinity Upper Elementary Art Teacher Ms. Francis will guide the art explorations, and every student will leave with a treasured work of art ready to frame and display for years to come!

Pottery Camp – NEW OFFERING!

Campers will join Trinity Teacher Ms. Eman’s Pottery Camp to unleash their imagination and create unique pieces of art! They will paint pottery, build their own pinch pots, and learn what it’s like to be a studio artist for a week. Let’s get muddy!

Step into Second Grade! – NEW OFFERING!

Rising Second Grade

Your child will Step into Second Grade with a preview of what it’s like to be upstairs in the UED! Campers will get all the first day jitters out of the way with the help of new friends and Trinity Second Grade Teachers Ms. Goldberg and Ms. McLean. The soon-to-be Second Graders will learn the daily routines of a Second-Grade classroom through exposure to different math, reading, writing, phonics, and social studies activities. Through fun games and projects, every camper will enter Second Grade with excitement and confidence!

Storybook Art with Ms. Anne: Ocean Adventures!

Let your child learn to love literacy by creating art! Trinity Teacher Anne Jones will integrate literacy skills using picture books while exploring a variety of art media. Throughout the week, campers will learn about marine creatures, including whales, sharks, and even mermaids! By the end of the week, your child will learn how to create art pieces that tell a story and write words that paint pictures!

Super Scientists: Fizz, Pop, Bang…Kid Chemistry!

Campers, put on your safety goggles and prepare to get messy! Trinity EED

Science Teacher Ms. T and Trinity Teacher April Patton are teaming up for this week of cool-kid chemistry in the science lab. Campers will create potions that bubble and fizz; sink their fingers into oozing, color-changing slime; and make predictions as they mix mystery substances and try to make them explode! Our Super Scientists will experiment, explore, and discover...that science is a blast!

Trinity Sports Camps

Rising Second–Sixth Grade

Monday–Friday | 9 AM–2 PM | $365, includes lunch

Trinity Teacher Matt Scott and his staff have created a safe and challenging environment for both boys and girls. Campers are divided into ageappropriate groups to play hard, display sportsmanship, and have fun! The day will be filled with your kids’ favorite sports activities: soccer, kickball, tag and capture-games, basketball, flag football, hockey, lacrosse, ultimate Frisbee, cooperative challenges, and more. Campers will have the opportunity to participate in water activities on Trinity’s campus. Lunch is included in the camp fee.

Dance Around the World! Dance Camp – NEW OFFERING!

Campers will join Trinity Teacher Ms. Jamie Webster on a cultural exploration of dance, music, storytelling, and crafts! They will travel to a new part of the world each day through dance. Dancers will experience Irish, Bollywood, African, Hula, K-POP, Spanish, and more!

Discover the Woods with Ms. Pam and Ms. Brooke: The Enchanted Forest

Rising Pre-K–Second Grade

Monday–Friday | 9 AM–12 PM | $330

Water nymphs, fairies, and gnomes are legendary in any woods and especially in Trinity’s own Discovery Woods, where there have been multiple sightings in summers past. Campers will delve into the magical world of the woods. They will look under leaves; feel the soft moss; create their own little woodlands house; and see if they can spot a fairy, nymph, or gnome!

Fine Cooking and Music Camp

Rising Kindergarten–Fourth Grade

Monday–Friday | 9 AM–12 PM | $365

Campers will learn to prepare (and get to eat!) breakfast, lunch, and dinner foods, including breads, casseroles, and desserts with Ms. Fine. They will learn basic cooking techniques, how to measure and follow a recipe, and how to use cooking equipment. They will also learn and practice basic etiquette skills, design a chef’s apron, and enjoy cooking-related literature. In addition to all the cooking fun, campers will enjoy music sessions with Ms. Grubbe throughout the week.

Jurassic Journey: Dinosaurs! – NEW OFFERING!

Do you have a child who loves dinosaurs? Do they wonder what dinosaurs looked like? How they were built to survive in their environment? And what went wrong? Campers will join Trinity Science Teacher Ms. Becky Maas as they “dig in” to all this and more through crafts, STEAM activities, and lots of hands-on explorations.

Lacrosse with Coach Brian Balocki – NEW OFFERING!

Rising Second–Sixth Grade

Coach Brian Balocki and two varsity high school athletes will lead a fun and exciting lacrosse camp for boys and girls. Campers will learn the fundamental skills of lacrosse in a challenging and nurturing environment. Camp sessions will be broken up into two parts. During the first part of camp, athletes will work on skill development, agility, and fitness. The second part of camp will be used to scrimmage. Scrimmages will give the campers an opportunity to learn the game of lacrosse in a controlled environment.

This camp will provide rich opportunities to engage in mathematical ideas through play, build a strong foundation for complex math skills for the future, and give each learner a sense of ownership and confidence that will foster success as a problem-solver. The Math Explorers camp in Sessions 2 and 3 will offer different games and puzzles.

Medieval Adventures – NEW OFFERING!

Calling all lords and ladies to join Trinity Media Specialist Ms. Griffith. Does your child dream of sword fights and medieval feasts? Can they envision themselves as a knight protecting a castle? Or perhaps a princess awaiting the throne? Then this camp is for them! Campers will build cardboard castles, complete a catapult STEAM challenge, learn sword fighting basics, and decorate their own shield. Your child will enjoy a week of medieval activities and crafts topped off with a feast on the last day!

Can’t get enough Fizz, Pop, Bang? Campers can come back for more coolkid chemistry with Trinity Teachers Ms. T and April Patton. During this second week of exploring in the science lab, campers will conquer STEAM challenges and investigate how heat affects a variety of materials. They will explore chemical reactions while erupting mini volcanoes and getting creative with exploding sidewalk chalk! Our Super Scientists will experiment, explore, and discover that science is a blast! Session 1 of Super Scientists is not a prerequisite for Session 2. Students are welcome to attend either or both sessions.

Tinker Legends – NEW OFFERING!

There’s an exciting world of “tinkering” and “making” waiting to be explored! Using real-world tools, loose parts, and open-ended materials, campers will invent, create, and complete design challenges. Wizard Training Camp

Rising First–Fifth Grade

Calling all witches and wizards! Your children have been accepted to The Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! They will be sorted into houses, receive their uniforms, join the dueling club, and work toward the Hogwarts’ House Cup. If your child is a Harry Potter fanatic and loves making crafts and playing games, this magical summer camp is for them. Each day, we will explore some of the same subjects offered at Hogwarts, like Potions, Care of Magical Creatures, and Herbology. Our wizards in training will learn wand making at Ollivanders and broom making at the Broom Shop. Daily fun will include Quidditch games and House competitions. Treats from house elves will be provided. Every child, even those new to the Harry Potter series, will love all the hands-on creations they will make at this exciting camp led by Trinity Teachers Nina Chamberlain, Leah Lenhardt, and Samantha Osby. Please note there are two session options. Please only register for one session as programming will be repeated.

Animal Music Camp

Does your child have an interest in animals and music? Join Trinity Music Teacher Ms. Grubbe in this perfect camp for him or her! Campers will sing, play a variety of classroom instruments and fun games, and get moving all while connecting music concepts with their favorite animals.

Cookie and Cake Decorating – NEW OFFERING!

Has your child ever wondered how to make beautiful fondant cake decorations? Have they seen beautiful, piped flowers and wanted to make them? Have them join Trinity Media Specialist Ms. Griffith and learn new techniques like piped flowers, flooding royal icing, using various frosting tips, and more. We can’t wait to see campers’ new skills as they practice with cake and cookie decorating! Every camper will go home at the end of the week with a decorator’s kit!

Cookies, Cakes, and Treats, OH MY! – NEW OFFERING!

Campers will embrace their leadership skills through public speaking activities and celebrate with each other regardless of their differences. They will explore, experiment, communicate, and feel empowered with Trinity Early Elementary Science Teacher Ms. T.

Passport Chess Camp – NEW OFFERING!

Rising First–Sixth Grade

Tuesday–Friday | 9 AM–12 PM | $265

Campers will join Intercontinental Bronze Medalist, U2200 GA State Champion, USCF Candidate Master Jim Mundy, and Georgia State Champion and International Master Carlos Perdomo for four days of extensive chess fun! Campers will receive study materials for training and have access to iPads with training applications, Chronos clocks for blitz and bughouse, and of course chess sets. They will have constant interaction with coaches, enjoy a lot of play time and receive feedback to help improve their game. All campers will be recognized for their efforts with medallions, fun prizes, and even chances to win trophies. Passport Chess Camp emphasizes sportsmanship and teamwork for a healthy growth environment with “methods” preferred over “memorization.” Any level of player, beginner to advanced, is welcome to join the fun!

SPLATASTIC: Exploring Painting Techniques and Crafts – NEW OFFERING!

Rising First–Fourth Grade

Is your child a future Picasso, Van Gogh, or O’Keeffe? Do they love exploring art in various forms? Join Trinity Teachers Ms. Campbell and Ms. Kim to explore different painting techniques. Campers will complete designs in splatter paint, marble art, painting with texture, abstract painting, and watercolors. Let’s get drippy!

Spy Camp

Rising Kindergarten and First Grade

Tuesday–Friday | 9 AM–12 PM | $290

Join Trinity Media Specialist Ms. Val and Ms. Sarah for Spy Camp! Campers will enjoy a week-long training program filled with top-secret missions, briefings, and training sessions. They will participate in activities such as dusting for fingerprints, creating disguises, and searching for clues that will put their espionage skills to the test. At the end of the camp, spy recruits will participate in a mission so classified that we cannot put it in print. All campers will receive a spy kit containing all the materials needed for daily activities and running secret missions.

Summer Fun in the Woods

Rising Pre-K–Third Grade

Tuesday–Friday | 9 AM–12 PM | $290

Join Trinity Teacher Ms. SatyaGrace and friends to discover what’s flourishing in Discovery Woods. Campers will use maps to navigate to Trailblazer Island and spot what they can with binoculars and magnifying glasses. When it gets hot, they will wade in the creek before heading inside for imaginative play, STEAM projects, and lots of Lego building. This camp can be enjoyed more than once, as every day brings new adventures and crafts will change weekly.

Wizard Training Camp

Calling all witches and wizards! Your children have been accepted to The Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! They will be sorted into houses, receive their uniforms, join the dueling club, and work toward the Hogwarts’ House Cup. Each day, we will explore some of the same subjects offered at Hogwarts, like Potions, Care of Magical Creatures, and Herbology. Our wizards in training will learn wand making at Ollivanders and broom making at the Broom Shop. Daily fun will include Quidditch games and House competitions. Treats from house elves will be provided. Every child, even those new to the Harry Potter series, will love all the hands-on creations they will make at this exciting camp led by Trinity Teachers Nina Chamberlain, Leah Lenhardt, and Samantha Osby. There are two session options; only register for one session as programming will be repeated.

Yoga and Mindful Art Camp

Super Scientists: Digging Up Dinosaurs

Vet Academy: Basic Vet Skills

Does your child love animals? Does he or she want to be a vet one day? Then Vet Camp is the place to be this summer! Campers will join Trinity Science Teacher Ms. T. to become junior veterinarians! They will learn what vets do, where they work, and how they help animals. Using stethoscopes, microscopes, and other tools, campers will dissect an owl pellet, practice their suturing skills, examine x-rays, and learn from animal-lovers in our Atlanta community. Junior Vets will also adopt their own dog or cat, design carriers and collars, and learn how to conduct physical exams and splint sprained bones. Vet Camp will include playground time, arts, crafts, and games. It will be a paws-itively great week!

Breaking Barriers Fundamentals Baseball Camp

Your child will gain a solid foundation of baseball skills during a camp led by former Chicago Cubs outfielder C.J. Stewart and student-athletes from public high schools around Atlanta who participate in Stewart’s L.E.A.D. Ambassadors program. It will be non-stop baseball fun with an emphasis on teamwork, attitude, and healthy competition. Campers will be taught the fundamentals of the game while using competition and fun-filled activities to keep them engaged and excited. All skill levels are welcome. No equipment necessary.

Breaking Barriers Leadership and Baseball Super Skills Camp

Your child will build and enhance their baseball skills and fundamentals on the field and develop character and leadership skills off the field with former Chicago Cubs outfielder C.J. Stewart and student-athletes from public high schools around Atlanta who participate in Stewart’s L.E.A.D. Ambassadors program. Campers will receive small group instruction by skill level to reinforce and build upon existing baseball-specific skills. The curriculum will focus on repetitions for hitting and fielding, instructional competitive games, and critical thinking skills training. For the more advanced players, the focus shifts to proper pitching mechanics as many of the players transition to “kid-pitch” in their leagues. During the week, coaches will use baseball to teach leadership skills that will translate to on- and off-thefield experiences. Your child will leave camp empowered with skills and a stronger passion and love of the game.

Our proven techniques combined with practice on real tests will help students systematically review all sections of the SSAT.
