Francis astounded and inspired the Church by taking the gospel literally—not in a narrow fundamentalist sense, but by actually following all that Jesus said and did, joyfully, without limit, and without a sense of selfimportance. Born in the 12th cent. in Assisi, he is now the patron saint of Italy, animals, archaeologists, merchants, metal workers and the environment; a pretty impressive list to be sure! St. Francis considered all of creation to be a reflection of the Divine. He called every living creature his “brothers” and “sisters,” ...

EVENTS Celebrate Local Artists & Toledo Streets Newspaper! October 20, 2022. Join us for an evening supporting the work and artistic expression of Toledo Streets Newspaper. At this event we will showcase photographs taken by those who participate as Vendors at Toledo Streets Newspaper. These individuals took to the streets to discover images which captured our vision, expressed beauty, or are quintessential to Toledo. These photo's have been comprised into a calendar. Prints of the photo's and the calendar will be for sale.

Our goal is to have 3 Worship Leaders available each Sunday.

TSN Vendor Lunch Team October 20: On the third Thursday of each month, Trinity prepares and delivers lunch to the vendors of our community partner, Toledo Streets Newspaper (TSN). We will need your help next on Thursday, October 20 when we will gather at 9:00am upstairs in My Brother's Place to prepare the meal! The Commission for Racial Justice will offer a two-day training on October 7 and 8 (9:30am Friday – 4:00pm Saturday) at Bellwether Farm. This Anti-Racism training is required for all individuals in elected and appointed Diocesan positions, and it is also open to all members of the Diocese. The cost of the training materials and food is covered by the Diocese of Ohio, but lodging is the responsibility of the participant (or their parish). Lodging options at Bellwether Farm are available. Registration is available here on the diocesan website.
