When Choosing A Lender

Interviewing lenders is an important step in determining what type of home loan is best for you. Not all lenders are the same, and the type of loans available, interest rates, and fees can vary. Here are some questions to consider when interviewing lenders:

Which types of home loans do you offer?

What will my interest and annual percentage rates be? Do I qualify for any special programs or discounts?

What estimated closing costs can I expect to pay?

What is your average loan processing time?

It’s also important to make sure you’re comfortable with the company that’s originating the loan.

Although many parts of the mortgage process are the same across all lenders, there are some differences that can affect the fees you are charged and the service you receive that are worth considering when you shop around.

For that reason, I only suggest Lisa Amorosa at FBC Mortgage. Lisa has always made sure the buyers are taken care of from start to finish. The entire process takes place in their offices so if something needs immediate attention Lisa can walk down the hall and speak with whomever she needs to I have never had a deal with Lisa that did not close on time. I not only refer my clients to Lisa, but I use her myself.
