OASIS 2.0
MEDICINE BOTTLE INDIVIDUAL PROJECT
BRIEF To simplify the process of consuming medication and making it more accessible for everyday use.
IDENTIFYING PROBLEMS Observing environments users interact with provided a starting point to identify problem areas.
Remembering to carry your pills to office can be a task in itself.
Bedrooms are messy and often hard to organize, finding your medication and remembering to take it can be hard.
USER SCENARIO To understand the user and their needs better, I looked at current products and the problems faced while using them.
What are all these pills for?
Which pills do I need to take?
Where did I keep my pill box?
Oh no! I forgot to take my pills again!
OASIS 2.0 Oasis is a Medicine Bottle designed for people who need their medication on the go, and would like to have a product that integrates seamlessly into their lifestyle while keeping it a discrete aspect in their lives.
HOW DOES IT WORK? Three simple steps make Oasis 2.0 an intuitive product.

Add prescribed medication to the containers

03 Fill water
Take dosage
DE-CONSTRUCTING DETAILS Oasis is a medical product and the cross subtly hints at it while blending seamlessly to the rest of the design.
The top compartment consists of three components each serving a unique purpose.
The mid section is the filter that allows you to take only the pills you wish to.
The base of the container has a capacity of 250 ml.
PILL COMPARTMENTS The lid module is divided into thee medicine compartments for your daily dosage based on your requirements; such as morning, afternoon and evening. The fourth compartment allows you to drink water even when you don’t need to take your pills but would like to stay hydrated on the go.
Tactile extrusions allow the user to know which compartment the set of pills is in.
An intuitive click sound ensures that the specific compartment has aligned with the opening.
TWO BOLD COLOURS Jet Black and Matte White are neutral yet bold colours that compliment the aesthetic of the design while integrating into the rest of your products effortlessly.
AROMA DIFFUSER DOLCE & GABBANA
PERSONAL PROJECT
BRIEF How might an Aroma Diffuser look if it were designed by Dolce and Gabbana?
DOLCE & GABBANA Understanding aspects of the brand such as design language, materials, textures, colours and appeal.
TYPES OF DIFFUSERS The starting point was to look at existing products currently available in the market.
HEAT DIFFUSER
ULTRASONIC
Heat diffusers are used in small to medium spaces and the heat source is used to disperse the essential oils.
The essential oil releases serotonin; relieving stress, anxiety, and fatigue. Ultrasonic diffusers use smaller amounts of essential oil.
NEBULIZER
EVAPORATIVE
This type of diffuser uses the temperature of the room to propel the air. It can be noisy, messy and difficult to clean.
Evaporative diffusers use the air current in the room to diffuse the fragrance.
THE MICRO-SCENARIO To understand what the user needs, it is important to understand the problems they currently face.
“I wish I could find the perfect ratio of oil to water.”
“I wish I could create my own fragrances.”

IDEATION The creativity process began with a quick session of visual brainstorming in context to relevant insights with the aim of making the interaction a multi-sensorial experience that forms a ritual.
WHAT NEXT? The next step of this project will involve developing the ideas and refining the concept; leading to the final stage which will focus on adapting the aesthetic of the product to the Dolce & Gabbana design language.
