The winter season is in full force. As well along with the season comes the seasonal skin, DRY! Parched and dehydrated. First, think about the cleanser you are using to wash your face and body. Hyaluronic acid helps bind moisture to the skin and can even be found in your cleansers. Creamy cleansers are needed to start the transformation.

Moisture: think fat-based moisturizers: our bodies absorb fat easily, so they will do the same on the surface of your skin. A balm is the bomb at this time of the year.

Makeup needs to be super powered. Makeup needs to moisturize the skin as well as give the skin color. This is not the time of year to think about putting powder on dry skin. Think about cremes, crème blush, bronzing balms, tinted lip balms, and SPF enhanced lip glosses for all the winter sports.

Simple little changes can make your skin more comfortable throughout the season. Add a beauty oil to your current moisturizer. This will give that moisturizer a bit of a “superpower.”

The winter season seems to last forever with dry skin. Drink water, eat foods rich in omega fatty acids and add a lot of vegetables to your diet.

You can do this winter season and do it successfully!
